Welcome to our Hilltop Ranch Home! You will find a relaxing getaway for your entire family or several couples. There is 1800 sq ft on the first floor including a master bedroom with ensuite bathroom boasting a jacuzzi tub, a fully stocked kitchen, gas fireplace, and an attached 2-car garage. In the walkout basement, there is a fourth bedroom, full bath and a TV area. A patio adjoining the dining room, a charcoal grill, and full-size hot tub-all perfect for entertaining your whole group. There are livestock in a pasture that is 120' southwest of the home. Guests may visit and feed the provided pellets. Do not, for any reason, enter the pasture. Owners do not assume any responsibility for accidents or illnesses. There will be a daily caretaker that will visit to feed and water the livestock. Currently there are sheep and 4 lambs. Guests have access to the entire home. Guests may message us through Airbnb at any time. We do our best to answer within the hour. If guests would like to schedule a visit to our petting zoo, they may request a reservation. The petting zoo is located approximately 10 minutes from the home. If guests would like to visit the livestock with the owners present, they may message us to set up a time. We do our best to accommodate all guests, but do not guarantee a reservation to visit with the animals. Our Hilltop Ranch Home is nestled in the rolling farm fields 3 minutes east of Grantfork, Illinois. Highlights of Grantfork's amenities include the Diamond Mineral Springs, Grantfork Bowl, Grantfork United Church of Christ, St. Gertrudes Parish Hall, Schwarz Barn (wedding venue) and Grantfork Meats. Our home is also only 10 minutes from Loveland Estates , Copper Dock Winery (both have wedding venues) , and all of The amenities of Pocahontas which include 2 gas stations, restaurants, and a revitalized downtown Pocahontas which includes my favorite store, The Mercantile. We are also 15 minutes from Highland and the large number of amenities that exist there which includes The Olde Wicks Factory. We are also around 45 minutes from the St. Louis Arch, Busch Stadium, and Lambert International Airport. For guests booking for weddings: Loveland Estates is 6.9 miles away, 11 minutes. Schwarz Barn is 2 miles away, 7 minutes. Olde Wicks Factory is 7.6 miles away, 13 minutes. There is an attached two car garage and plenty of outdoor parking. A vehicle is definitely needed. Guests may request to rent 6' or 8' Lifetime tables and chairs that may be used in the basement or attached garage. We have (3) 6' tables, (2) 8' tables and 25 chairs. These are nice so that the entire family can eat and visit together. Rent fees: Tables - $10 each Chairs - $2 each
