Tree Tops Glamping Pod in the Blackdown Hills

Relax in the octagonal living space on comfy bean bags or sit outside around a cosy fire 🔥. The living space is heated to warm you up if the weather is nippy! The space Tree Tops Glamping Pod is totally unique. The sleeping area sleeps up to 4 all in one space. Better suited for 2 adults or two adults and two children rather than 4 adults! It is high up, accessed via a ladder. The living area is octagonal and a balcony is accessed through a door. There is a patio area outside and also a cosy shower room and toilet with heated towel rail. The front window of the tent is Acrylic which allows for excellent forest views while keeping the tent nice and warm. ****new new new - the tent now has UNDERDLOOR HEATING *** The living area has a well appointed kitchen, sitting area and access out to the cantilevered deck. Guest access A mode of transport would probably be necessary, as we are in a very small hamlet. The nearest pub and shop (with PO) being about 3 miles away! Both are in the nearest village of Churchinford and are highly recommended. Hemyock is also only a few miles away and has a PO and Spar shop. There are loads of lovely walks straight from the pod. Other things to note Anyone staying would need to love the unusual and be able to climb a 7 rung ladder into the sleeping tent. The views are worth it! You may sometimes spot our ponies in the forest too. The ground around the pod and the access down to it is a bit steep and uneven so would not suit people unsteady on their feet. There is a school next door and so during term time you may hear children at break times. The Tree Pod is on our small holding, it is lovely and peaceful and you will be surrounded by the sounds of nature and the odd tractor trundling by. You may even meet our ponies as we take them out to graze, or get a visit from the our dogs who like to say hello when they get the chance. Please remember you are immersed in nature and we enjoy a slightly cooler climate up here in the hills, so come prepared for both rain and shine! We now have a BBQ with a pizza oven! So if you would like to bring pizza ingredients (thin crust cook the best on it) you can enjoy a pizza in front of the fire!
