Peaceful garden room on ground floor in lovely family house 15 minutes walk from Cheltenham town centre. Own external door, small conservatory, new bathroom, parking, guest wifi, continental breakfast, comfortable bed, and beautiful garden. Excellent base for exploring the Cotswolds, or just enjoying the festivals and shopping in Cheltenham. Most electricity supplied from our own solar panels and battery. The space This is a private guest suite in our house and is not self-contained. We keep some of our books there. Our garden is outstanding, and we open it in aid of charity every summer. We have over 45 rose plants in the garden, and in the summer, guests can sit in their conservatory and look over the garden. There is a patio at the front of the house where you can sit and have breakfast if the weather is warm. The house itself is very warm and well-insulated. Guest access The suite is all yours. We will give you a delicious breakfast in our kitchen/dining room, but we are sorry, the kitchen is not available to guests for their own cooking. Please note that if you have complex dietary needs, please bring supplies with you. Breakfast consists of nut-free muesli or granola or porridge in the winter, Yeo Valley organic greek style yoghurt, honey, fresh fruit (apples, oranges, bananas, blueberries, strawberries in season), dairy milk, oat milk, wholemeal toast, Yeo Valley butter, various preserves, various teas, Nespresso coffee. During your stay We are happy to socialise if guests want to. We love meeting new potential friends but understand that some guests want to be private. Other things to note There are many pubs, bars and excellent restaurants in Cheltenham of which we hope guests will take full advantage. However, we would appreciate it if guests do not bring alcohol back to the house.
