To open the lockbox, first fold down the flap, then enter the code that we will have communicated to you the day before or the morning of your arrival. Then simultaneously press the buttons to the right and left of the box. Collect the 2 keys (one large and one small), close the lockbox and remember to change the numbers of the code before putting the flap back on. The large key is used to open the wooden gate. IMPORTANT: LOCK THIS DOOR AFTER EACH PASSAGE. Go up the sandstone staircase on your right. The building door is never locked. Don't be surprised, the closure is a 17th century thumb latch (the house dates from 1608...), just press (with your thumb) on the metal part that protrudes to open the door. (For technical enthusiasts: by pressing the thumb, the user creates a rocker that lifts the latch and allows it to be released from the chin). To close the door, the system is identical: just lift the latch (manually if you are inside, by the thumb latch if you are going out...) which, when falling back, will lock again in the chin... Your accommodation is on the right in the lobby. The first door opens a soundproofing airlock that is not locked. You will need the small key to access the Haut Relais des Seigneurs. Last little detail, inside your rental you will be on a brush mat and just after there is a small step that you will do well to be careful of. During the renovation of the accommodation there was 18 cm of difference in height between the wall of the front door and that of the windows and it was necessary to compose because it was impossible to raise the door because of the beams that are placed just above... In the end, the floor is completely flat on 2 thirds of the room and then gradually rises as you get closer to the windows... In the summer you have access to the backyard with garden furniture. Barbecue equipment is also available. Enjoy your stay! Other things to note We, together with our permanent tenants, have created a common laundry room with a large capacity washing machine and a dryer. It is located at the end of the reception hall. You have access (between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.) to these amenities. The laundry detergent and softener are in the laundry room cabinet. We only ask you for a contribution to cover the costs of use (please deposit in the piggy bank)
