Description
Disconnect at our delightful off-grid retreat. The post-and-beam cabin is tucked away in a meadow that is active with birds, butterflies, and deer. On summer nights, thousands of fireflies flit and flicker in the grass and tree tops. Listen to the creeks that surround the cabin as you drink coffee or a glass of wine on the wrap-around porch. The cabin is minutes away from ADK hikes, a number of eating options, small towns, and Lakes Champlain and George. More info on our off grid nature below The space Follow us on insta at Firefly Meadow to see more photos of the space and follow our work on this space. Other things to note The cabin has solar panels that power a few lights and can charge a cell phone. We also provide candles. The cabin does not formally have running water, but we have systems in place so you can flush the toilet and wash dishes. We provide 5 gallons of drinking water. We have an outdoor shower set up that uses rain water and an electric handheld pump. If you need a hot shower over the weekend, there is a shower in town that costs $10 to use. Read the reviews to see how other guests have enjoyed our work arounds and their stay. We have a gas stove top, grill, and all the cookware and dishes you might need. If you’re looking for a space to work, there’s a great little co-working space in town that charges $15/day or $60 for the week. Sleeping accommodations. The cabin has a loft with a queen sized bed and a trundle bed with two twin mattresses. Downstairs we have a full-sized sofa-bed in the living room and a back bedroom with a full sized bed. Firewood for the camp fire outdoors is free. For fires indoors, we provide a bunch of wood to get you started and ask that you pay $5 for 8 pieces of wood after that.
