Gwesty Cobdens in Snowdonia National Park

Ideally located for exploring all that Snowdonia National Park has to offer, we provide a casual, friendly base to start your next adventure. A picturesque hotel nestled in the centre of Snowdonia National Park, Gwesty Cobdens is over 200 years old. We are currently engaged in the process of restoration and renovation work to return Gwesty Cobdens to its former glory as a premium example of a Victorian country hotel. During this ongoing renovation work we have a few en-suite rooms available. The space Pen-Yr-Ole-Wen (Room 4) is a first-floor bedroom with a super king size bed and en-suite at the front of the building overlooking the river and forest. All Guests can enjoy access to a small snug on the first floor with a great view of the river. Rooms have a complementary beverage tray provided and soft drinks and snacks are available for purchase in the hotel lobby. We do not currently serve food or drink but there are local cafes/restaurants within close walking distance. Please note that the rooms we currently have avalaible still have their orginal en-suite bathrooms and have not yet undergone renovations (See pictures). Guest access Guests have access to the hotel lobby and a small snug on the first floor as well as their private rooms. Bus stops in both directions are just outside and there is great access to hiking trails that can take you across Snowdonia. Parking is free for hotel guests in the carpark on the hotel side of the road. (While the buses come quite regularly, we cannot guarantee them) Other things to note Indoor secure bike storage is avaliable. Gwesty Cobdens is also our home and there are areas that guests are not currently permitted to access. A dog and a cat live in the hotel but do not have access to guest rooms. Please inform us if you have any allergies. Outside a few friendly chickens and three ducks live alongside two rabbits.
