Tilly Cottage, located in the Lancs village of Blacko, (once homeland of the Lancashire witches). Is a warm and cosy cottage surrounded by beautiful countryside with direct panoramic views from the cottage over to Pendle Hill. Sitting on the Forest of Bowland border you can enjoy the most beautiful of country landscapes. There is variety of food serving Inns within close proximity, village pub within 40yards, breakfast cafe within 1/4m, shops, supermarket and wine bars just 1m away. The space Tilly Cottage is an elevated, bright, true period stone built cottage situated in the heart of the peaceful village of Blacko. The Cottage sits as an end cottage which has the most spectacular view directly over the fields towards Pendle Hill. This Cottage is exceptionally light, boasting a large wall-to-wall window in the front room, allowing daylight to flood through, and enabling guests to enjoy the open view from within. Stepping out onto the balcony you can soak up the peaceful ambience, enjoy the stunning view and changing sunsets over Pendle Hill with a bottle of wine (or two)!! The Cottage has been lovingly decorated to welcome guests, and is deceptionally spacious, with 2 bedrooms (2 double beds) ample wall-to-wall wardrobe storage; bathroom, shower, country kitchen; front room with Flame fire, WiFi, Samsung Smart TV (with Netflix and all additional apps). With full central heating on demand, together with an independent front room gas flame fire, you will find the kitchen wood burning stove a functional option. There is a variety of food serving country inns within close proximity. Within half a mile, in the village of Barrowford you will find several small wine bars, indian restaurant, coffee shops, supermarket, takeaways, fish and chip shop, park and Heritage Centre tea rooms (for information on tour guides and The Lancashire Witches). Whether you meander round the surrounding country lanes immersing yourself in the beautiful country of The Forest of Bowland, visit the local county inns, ride over the historic towns of Skipton or Clitheroe, take a brisk walk along the canal banks (minutes from the cottage), explore Malham Tarn, travel over the moors to Haworth (home of the Brontes), pop over to Downham, or pick from other places of interest …. (or simply chill) …. you are sure to have a lovely stay at Tilly Cottage!!
