Taking the Robert Campbell Highway from Carmacks or Watson Lake, you will be treated with spectacular views of valleys, rivers, and lakes without even leaving your vehicle. The Robert Campbell Highway between Carmacks and Ross River is a year-round accessible secondary road for all vehicles. It is maintained all year by the Highway Maintenance crews stationed at Drury Creek and Carmacks. When traveling on the Robert Campbell Highway east of Ross River in the winter season, check road conditions with the local RCMP detachment.
