Nestled in the countryside in the grounds of the owners home, you will find this secluded luxury retreat. Sleeping up to 4 +cot in one bedroom and a mezzanine level. This is a getaway where you’ll be surrounded by nature- a peaceful escape to feed your soul. Ideal location for wedding guests who are celebrating at the Great Barn Devon wedding venue. The space Inside - The charming open plan living area is a light, airy space showcasing the lovely barrel shaped ceiling. There is a wood-burner plus a fully equipped kitchen with Nespresso coffee machine, gas oven and hob, microwave and fridge. No Freezer in the cabin but we can offer a draw in our utility room freezer if you need to freeze a few bits. Sleeping- One Cozy bedroom with king size bed, a mezzanine space provides additional sleeping accommodation (please be aware the mezzanine area is for sleeping in and there is a restricted head height) There is a separate bathroom with walk in shower and heated towel rail. Bi-fold doors lead onto a veranda and a private stoned area with outdoor sofa, dining table, and fire pit. Sit back and enjoy the rustling trees, listen to the birds or cozy up around the fire pit and take in the stars. Guest access Please note this property can only be accessed by foot. Parking is at the Village hall 5 minute walk away and up a steep hill. Access is past the owners house and down approximately 30 steps (please bear this in mind when packing and if you have mobility issues access could be difficult) You’re welcome to stop in the road at our house Pitmans cottage to unload luggage before parking in the village hall car park (please note the gravel drive next to Pitmans cottage is our neighbour’s and is not available to use) Parking and Direct access can be gained from the Great Barn Wedding venue if you are guests at the wedding (Please let us know in advance). Other things to note The Great Barn Devon wedding venue is approximately 250 -300 meters from the cabin. On a warm Saturday evening if the doors are open celebrations can sometimes be heard, Music is always finished by 11.30pm A small amount of wood will be provided but if you intend to use the fire pit or wood burner a lot please bring wood with you.
