In the heart of the Landes Natural Park, in Moustey on a beautiful discreet property, hilly 1.6 hectares "Le Moulin d'Hourtoy" lined with century-old oaks, bordered by its rivers, welcomes you all year round, heated pool, spa, gym, linen included for holidays, private or professional events. Access to the mill is via a path in the forest; it is not uncommon to come across animals!!! So keep your eyes peeled We have a Land Rover Defender if needed! The space The main house (14 people) Beautiful wooden house in the Landes of 280 m² with elegant, neat and comfortable decoration. Its large fireplace, living room, large table, kitchen, and foosball table make this space a very friendly place to share. Its 6 bedrooms, sleeping area, 4 bathrooms and toilet offer you great comfort. Under a beautiful traditional frame, you will find a beautiful home cinema space. Just a few meters from the main house, 40 m² chalet (4/6 pers.): 1 bedroom with a double bed and two bunk beds, living room with sofa bed (two people), wood stove, kitchen and high table, bathroom – shower, outdoor terrace with table and sunbathing. A few meters also next to the pool, its 17 m² gym on the river, bike, rowing machine, treadmill, bench…. Only high-end equipment. Its winter and summer lounges, its bowling alley and billiards, its 300 m² terrace at the foot of the large oaks overlooking the river, its salt pool (heated from April to October) and its 7-seater jacuzzi offer optimal relaxation. Depending on the desire or the season, you can decide to sit inside or outside on the occasion of a plancha, a brazier, on the large shaded terrace. Lovers of wide open spaces and calm, this property is for you… The fauna and flora are the guardians of the place. You will fall under the spell, a haven of peace in a green setting. Mushroom pickers will be in heaven!!! Many animals (boars, deer, squirrels, etc.)… visit us. For the more athletic, you will enjoy the great outdoors, forest trails, river (Petite Leyre). Canoes are at your disposal, hiking, fishing, mountain biking, running, horseback riding, motorcycling. On reservation, a forest outing with a Polaris Ranger 6 seats day or night (Option). Possibility to rent the Polaris Ranger 6-seater for your trips between the mill and the parking lot but also for walks in the forest. Depending on availability and upon reservation, you can benefit from several wellness services (yoga, relaxation and massages) Look no further, the "Moulin d'Hourtoy" is an exceptional place where it's good to live, share, celebrate, rest with family, friends, colleagues. The Mill is located in the middle of the forest, so the telephone networks do not work very well, especially in the house, but the entire property is covered by Wi-Fi. An incredible living space for a brazier barbecue, which can accommodate all guests on the Living Room and Garden Table. Guest access Access to the MILL in a 4x4 vehicle or SUV We have a 9-seater Land-Rover Defender for rent if needed Other things to note Some pets may be allowed, cat, small dog because we have peacocks and we do not want to risk an accident. During your stay, we may need to carry out work, depending on the period, to maintain the pool or garden, for example. The Moulin is at the intersection of two rivers… despite the fact that they are not very deep, be careful if you swim there, we disclaim any liability for swimming in the rivers or in the small pond. Trap shooting is strictly forbidden on the property.
