The house was built in 1875 in Victorian gothic style. It is located in the beautiful village of Pontesbury on the edge of The Shropshire Hills, an AONB. The village has a Co-op, local butchers/bakers, 3 pubs, chip shop, a Chinese and an Indian restaurant and many other amenities. It is 7 miles from the county town of Shrewsbury with a direct bus link within a 2 minute walk of the property. There is a large network of rights of way heading into the hills from the front door. *NB There is no tv!* The space My home is a characterful stone building. The house has 2 bedrooms, 2 woodburning stoves, modern kitchen-diner (with a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle, cafetière, cooker, hob, milk frother and a washing machine), bathroom with large walk-in shower (and an outside loo!) and a cosy living room with natural stone walls exposed. There is a wrap around garden to enjoy the views over Pontesford Hill. Free parking is adjacent to the property and bike storage is available in the conservatory or utility room (items left at your own risk). Wifi is found throughout the house along with an available desk space. There is a king size bed in the master bedroom and 2 singles in bedroom 2. There is space to unpack in the through room which leads to the bathroom. ***THERE IS NO TV*** but plenty of books and games to keep you occupied. There is fast broadband Wifi for you to catch up on your favourite shows on your device. ***Up to 2 well behaved dogs are welcome...there is a pet fee of £30 per visit. Please add this on to your booking.*** Guest access Parking is on the wide pavement adjacent to the property. Please pull in close to the wall to allow pedestrians to pass by. Other things to note There is no access to the garage. It is for my private storage.
