Summer House Currarong - enjoy the beach and bush!

We love beautiful Currarong and want to share it with others. Currarong is nestled between beautiful bushland and stunning pristine beaches and coastline. It's neighboured by many other coastal villages around the spectacular Jervis Bay area. The space Our holiday home, affectionately called our 'Summer House' is your quintessential fibro beach cottage......simple, charming and relaxed! Floorboards, casual 'beachy' furniture and just a short stroll to beaches and native bush! Currarong is the perfect place for bushwalking and beachcombing. There are lovely walking trails through Abrahams Bosom Reserve that will lead you to gorgeous inlets, hidden beaches and spectacular coastal vistas. Currarong has a main beach, which stretches off into the distance and is dog friendly at certain times of the day. Nearby Abrahams Bosom beach is smaller with calmer waters - the perfect spot for kids and picnics. Currarong also has some lovely natural rock pools perfect for swimming and exploring. All these spots are an easy 5-10 stroll from our home. Currarong also has tennis courts, skate park and bowling club if you feel like some activity away from the beach. And if you want to venture further afield, then jump in the car and explore some of the coastline and villages in the surrounding Jervis Bay area - Point Perpendicular lighthouse, Cabbage tree beach, Honeymoon Bay, Callala Beach, Red Point - just a few of our favourites! Our home sits in a quiet street and backs onto a bush reserve.....ideal for spotting local birds and wildlife. Our Summer House is a lovely old style fibro home. It has 3 bedrooms and sleeps 6 people. For us, the charm of Currarong and our home is that it's relaxed and casual in style. A place where we hope you can come and unwind - enjoy a drink on the deck, a BBQ or maybe a board game and a movie once the sun goes down. Below are some key features of our home: -2 storey home with 3 bedrooms -Sleeps 6 people -All beds have comfy mattresses, wool quilts and quality quilt covers (you need to supply your own sheets, pillow cases and towels) -Floor boards throughout -Two living rooms (upstairs and downstairs with TV's in both) -A bluetooth sound system -A range of board games and books for you to enjoy -Large kitchen with dishwasher and dining table to seat 6 people -BBQ, large deck with outdoor dining table -Outdoor shower -Laundry with washing machine and dryer Note: please note there are no child safety gates on the internal staircase so the house may not be appropriate for toddlers. If cooking at home is not your thing, then wander around the corner to the bowling club. Their bistro does a good range of meals and offer take away as well. Our dog holidays at Currarong with us and your well behaved dog is welcome to come and stay also. There's some more information in our house rules to provide some guidance for furry guests! Oh and be sure to treat your dog for ticks before visiting the area. The yard is secure for most sized dogs, however tiny pooches such as Chihuahuas and mini foxies might be able to squeeze under the house or through the bars in the gate. Guest access You have access to the whole house and yard. There’s a small granny flat at the rear of the backyard which you won’t have access to - we use that space for storage.
