This charming, well-appointed one-bedroom apartment in downtown Buena Vista offers a stylish, cozy, completely private stay with self check-in. Guests enjoy a record player with vinyl, plush robes, coffee, tea, sparkling water, and all the comforts of home. Walk to Main Street shops, cafes, and restaurants. Steps to the Arkansas River, epic trails, dog park, skate park, and pickleball courts. Only 15 min to hot springs, 45 min to skiing. STR-029 The space The Cedar Street Retreat one bedroom apartment offers a cozy quarters in the heart of downtown Buena Vista. Please note this apartment offers 1 queen bed, 1 queen sofa bed and 1 twin-size electric air mattress, which is stored in the bedroom closet. It also offers a pack-n-play crib which is stored under the bed. The quaint bedroom offers one queen bed with Tempurpedic mattress topper, luggage racks, and closet with extra linens and plenty of space to hang clothing. You'll love lounging in the living room which features smart tv, bluetooth speaker, record player, vinyl albums, books and games. Enjoy cooking in the full kitchen on new appliances and stocked with essentials including a coffee maker, electric tea kettle, pots/pans, and crockpot. There is one bathroom with a shower, plush bath towels, robes, shampoo, body soap, lotion, razors, and hairdryer. You'll also find an iron+board, humidifier, sound machine, beach mats, a yoga mat, and hot spring robe available for your use in the bedroom closet. For those who need to work remotely, there is WIFI and a small work table available. Guest access There is designated private parking in the driveway for up to 2 vehicles. You'll park on the right side of the driveway next to the fence. Walk in the gate to the right and let yourself in using the keypad lock box and private code that was sent to you prior to check-in. Other things to note *For all guests with pets: please note this apartment is pet-friendly and comes with an extra leash and poop-bags. However pets are not allowed to stay unattended unless they are in a crate. Even the chillest pets can get panicked in a new place without their hoomans. We have unfortunately experienced this with another guest. These rules have been put in place to protect the furbaby, the hooman, and our investment. We also recommend that you don't leave your pet unsupervised outdoors as we do live in the mountains among wildlife. Lastly, please note, there is a pooper-scooper located outside so please do pick-up after your pet so that we may keep the yard healthy for future guests. * If you are coming in for a wedding or concert please note that you can easily walk or bike to both E. Main where The Lariat, Terrace On Main, and Orpheum Loft are located, and to South Main where the Surf Hotel and Ivy Ballroom are located. * Walk just 10 minutes from the Cedar Street Retreat and you'll arrive at gold-medal fishing waters, and incredible trails perfect for hiking, mountain biking, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing. Take in a hot soak at Mt. Princeton Hot Springs Resort which is just a short fifteen-minute drive. Drive just forty minutes and you can enjoy epic skiing and snowboarding at Monarch Ski Resort, or an hour and a half drive will get you to Summit County which is home to four world-class ski resorts, including Breckenridge, Keystone, and Copper Mountain all within a half hour of each other. Buena Vista is ideal for those who want to enjoy the fresh powder season, but prefer to avoid the resort town crowds. *This apartment doubles as a music classroom Tuesday - Thursday so we do not offer bookings on these days. We traditionally host Cedar Street Retreat guests Friday-Monday and allow overnight Monday guests as long as guests are able to checkout by 11 am on Tuesday as our classes start at 12pm. Thank you for your understanding as we attempt to provide music education to Chaffee County students while also providing an incredible experience hosting visitors from near and far. *Please note that we do book Cedar Street Retreat guests during weekdays for holidays including Thanksgiving, Winter/Christmas break, as well as Spring Break which is when our music school is closed.
