JAN SPECIAL $200 WEEKEND DAYS Welcome to our tranquil getaway, ideally located 1.5 miles north of downtown Cottonwood. The property sits above the Verde River with 360 degree views of the Verde Valley. The red rocks of Sedona and wineries are 20-25 mins away. Jerome ghost town is a must see. Verde Canyon Railroad is 2 miles away. Enjoy hiking trails, floating down the Verde River and much more. Explore the emerging destination spot of the Verde Valley from your home away from home! The house has 2 Master bedrooms, both with en-suite bathrooms. The third bedroom has a queen bed and the fourth bedroom has 2 twin beds. There is an additional full bathroom and a powder room. PLEASE NOTE: An additional twin bed can be set-up per your request. Any additional guests beyond 8 will require a $50 per person/per night fee. 10 people is the maximum number of guests. The dining table will seat 8 comfortably. Our kitchen is set-up for most cooking activities. We have provided the following small appliances: blender, hand mixer, Kitchenaid mixer, crockpot. There is a grill including all grilling utensils. The outdoor dining area seats 4 comfortably. There is plenty of parking around our circle drive and behind the house. There is space in front of the house for 2 vehicles. The house is on 1.5+ high desert acres on a bluff over-looking the Verde River. The road and driveway are gravel. The house is semi-secluded and it is very quiet, especially on the north side facing the river. Seasonally, you may hear the river when it is running fast. The Tuzigoot National Monument is directly in view below the property. The red rocks of Sycamore Canyon are on the far horizon. The winter season may bring a dusting of snow on the property and the surrounding mountains, especially Mingus Mountain southwest of the property. Spring and summer brings beautiful storm clouds, bright rainbows, and dazzling sunrises and sunsets. 1. FIRE PIT: Guest needs to provide their own logs and kindling/fire starter. We have lighters in the house. Please observe and adhere to local fire restrictions/"no burn" days. Help protect our community and local flora and fauna! 2. OTHER ITEMS OF INTEREST: * Basketball court * Horse shoe pit * Board games, cards, puzzles 3. 2 independent WIFI networks (different providers). This helps with Internet connectivity and redundancy. The faster network can be dedicated to “work from home” activities to aid with bandwidth and hopefully maintain a consistent connection.
