Raven’s Nest is a serene, minimalist apartment, tucked away in an historical mansion on the beachfront of the exquisite world-renowned holiday destination of St. James. Set against the backdrop of the mountain it has been carved out from, this tranquil holiday spot is the place to be when exploring the jewels of the Cape. St. James is within walking distance of both the surfer village of Muizenberg, and the artistic, foodie and shopping haven of Kalk Bay. The space When staying in the apartment, one really has a feeling of what day-to-day life is like in the ‘Deep South’ as this area is nicknamed by locals. There are views of the sea, the famous colourful beach huts and tidal pool from the lounge, further adding to the ‘beach holiday’ feel of your experience. You may think you’ll be out on the beach all day, but we have been told by guests that Raven’s Nest feels like such a sanctuary, that they "couldn’t wait to get back home". Guest access Street parking is available outside the old mansion. Getting around is easy on foot, bicycle, in your own vehicle or by uber. Other things to note Things to note: * Raven’s Nest is a residential apartment. We unfortunately can’t control noise from upstairs but also ask that noise be kept to a minimum after 20:00. * There are 5 flights of stairs to the apartment. Almost all properties in the area are set against a mountain and require climbing up stairs. Please ensure that you are happy to walk up and down these stairs during your stay. * No loud music. * The WiFi can sometimes be a bit spotty as there is no fibre in the area yet, so wind and rain can slow it down.
