Welcome to Hungry Gulch Camp!! A simple rustic 700 sq ft cabin secluded in the hills overlooking Lake Isabella. At night, the sky is lit with thousands of stars perfect for star gazing. Our place is located up an adventurous 1.5 mile dirt road that is steep and uneven in some areas. Some EV’s, lower vehicles and inexperienced drivers had issues before, be advised. We welcome all with good vibes and respect for the area. If nature and wildlife are a problem, this isn’t the spot for you. The space The cabin is a mobile home hybrid with a wooden living room and deck addition. Equipped with comfort amenities- *Wood burning stove *Mini Split A/C and heating *Starlink Hi speed internet *Propane BBQ Grill *Cotton linens and towels *Fully stocked kitchen Mountain Road Access Notice- Please note the cabin is accessed via a 1.5-mile shared mountain dirt road with some steep, uneven, and sandy sections. Most guests have no trouble reaching the property, but road conditions can vary depending on weather. AWD or 4WD is recommended during rain, winter weather, or for guests unfamiliar with mountain roads. Low-clearance vehicles or Electric Vehicles—like Teslas—may have difficulty in certain conditions. We also recommend arriving before dark for the most comfortable drive. The reward is a peaceful, private cabin experience with beautiful lake and mountain surroundings — part of the charm of staying in a more remote nature retreat. Guest access Guests are welcome to use the main house and the deck. Hiking around the property is encouraged, but please remember to always be respectful of wildlife and neighbors. Please take your trash with you and leave only footprints🙏🏼 Property is up a dirt road, in wet or snowy weather you may need 4x4 or chains. Please check weather and road conditions Other things to note Important details: This is an older property with some modern updates. In the summer the AC has cooling limitations. Please be prepared for heat if you’re visiting during the summer For the best experience arrive in the daytime so you can become familiar with the road.
