Trelowen, self-contained apartment - Helford River

Set in the beautiful creekside village of Port Navas, Trelowen is a self-contained ground floor apartment with step-free access in an Edwardian country house. With 2 acres of sub-tropical gardens to enjoy, contemporary fitted kitchen and bathroom, spacious bedroom, light and airy sitting room and just a 5 minute walk to the waterfront and yacht club, Trelowen is a wonderful place to escape to. Hop in the car and you're 7 miles from Falmouth and just minutes from the South West coast path. The space Trelowen is the perfect base for couples of all ages looking to get away from it all – but with the luxury and ease of modern amenities at your fingertips. Inside, Trewlowen is bright and welcoming with plenty of space to relax. The generous bedroom has a kingsize (5ft) traditional Victorian-style bed frame with a luxurious, deep, British-made pocket sprung mattress with extra topper, plump pillows, cosy duvet and 100% cotton bedlinen. Every care has been taken for a peaceful night’s sleep. A double sofabed in the sitting room provides additional accommodation - if you would like us to provide bedlinen, pillows and a duvet plus extra towels for guests using the sofabed, please increase the number of guests to 3 or 4 when booking (there is an additional charge to cover the extra laundry costs). Outside you can lose yourself in the 2 acres of wild gardens shared with the other 5 apartments in the building - formal lawns, woodland areas, a Japanese garden and hidden glades are the perfect spots to enjoy a picnic or a celebratory glass of fizz. The gardens are maintained organically without pesticides or herbicides and with a focus on providing a natural habitat for the many species of wildlife found there (stay very still and you may see one of our visiting deer amongst the trees). Guest access The entire apartment is available for guests to use together with a designated parking space. The apartment has its own entrance via a stable door next to the parking area. Guests will also have access to the 2 acre gardens. The apartment has wifi throughout. Other things to note We have set up our listing with a Friday changeover date. Please contact us if you would like a short break to begin on a day other than a Friday - we can amend your booking accordingly. Trelowen is down a single track lane with passing places which is extremely narrow at times - wide enough for supermarket delivery vans though - why not book one for your arrival! Trelowen has step-free access through its separate stable door entrance which is just 3 metres from the apartment's parking space.
