Cabin in the Pines- Flagstaff and Williams

Welcome to Woodside Lodge. This beautiful cabin is located in the Pines of Parks, AZ. Tucked into tall ponderosa pines & backing into national forest, this beautiful wood-wrapped home has everything you are looking for. An open great room, well appointed kitchen, fireplace in the living room, large bedrooms & beautiful patio in the back of the home with 2 picnic benches for all the enjoy. Front porch is covered with rocking chairs. This 2 BR, 1 BA will accommodate up to sleep 7 people. The space 15 minutes from Williams, AZ (Grand Canyon Railway) 13 minutes to Bearizona 15 minutes from Flagstaff, Az. 30 mins to Arizona Snowbowl 9 miles to Grand Canyon Deer Farm Approx 1hr to Grand Canyon BEFORE YOU BOOK: The cabin is surrounded by tall ponderosa pines and there may be limited internet services. We use a Verizon boost which does allow for you to stream movies and have internet but cannot be counted on for all times. For basic internet use for work on laptop (not gaming) you have a solid internet WiFi but sometimes the service is sluggish after dinner time (video streaming buffering may occur). The cell phone reception depending on your service maybe bad. We are at 7,000 elevation with lots of trees so it could be a problem for you. There is also a bonfire area which can be used depending on local rules. Please check with your host. The space Woodside Lodge sits on 1.0 acre of land. With incredible views, soaring ceilings, and a majestic wood-burning fireplace, Woodside is an idyllic retreat for remote work, family bonding (the cabin can sleep 5 comfortably — or more, for those willing to “rough it” on the comfortable reclining couch), or time to reconnect with friends or just yourself. Each clear, starry night (the ones Arizona is known for), retreat to the massive back deck with your coziest Sherpa fleece blanket and look up at the sky (watch for meteors!) through the Ponderosa pines, absorbing the serenity of one of America’s most beautiful, awe-inspiring national forests. When there’s a chill in the air, light the logs in the outdoor fire pit and make some memories over s’mores (or cocoa for the kids), or snuggle in and watch the snowflakes fall through crystal-clear picture windows for the experience of a lifetime. Two bedrooms, one bath 1,200-sq-ft cabin on 1 acre All the comforts of home Easy access to I-40 ( 3 mins) 1 mile from Parks in the Pines General Store and Deli (great local food) A few blocks off historic the Route 66 Woodside Lodge is equipped with a security alarm system and a security cameras on the exterior of the house. Guest access The Entire Cabin at Your Disposal - well almost!! 1 closet is locked for the owner's personal belongings, the shed is locked. Other things to note -Water is hauled to the property but we always ensure there are plenty of water for the number of guests staying. -Propane gas is delivered but we have gas tank onsite -Septic tank system Other things to note There is no AC on this mountain property. We have 2 high speed fans and the best method to cool the place down during hot days is keep the shades down during the day and open windows at night. This is typical in the area as well.
