The space This home started as a classic wooden Caribbean bungalow that we cherished for 9 wonderful years—until Hurricane Maria swept it away. With determination and a lot of heart, we rebuilt, and today we’re thrilled to call this slice of paradise home again! Perched on a hill at the very last street, the house boasts ocean views to the west and breezes from the southeast. The large, fully fenced lot extends into peaceful, empty spaces at the back, offering privacy and serenity. Over the past 14 years, we’ve been planting and nurturing our garden, and now we’re literally reaping the fruits of our labor. But let’s keep it real: this is a remote island in the middle of the Caribbean Ocean. Resources are limited, and water and electricity can be costly—and occasionally take a break without warning. Embrace the island life, come prepared, and channel your inner adventurer. It’s all part of the charm of living like a true islander! From the pool and lush tropical gardens, you’ll be treated to dreamy ocean views. It’s private, peaceful, and oh-so-romantic—the kind of place that could turn a weekend getaway into a “let’s never leave” situation. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need (and yes, everything works—because that’s important), there’s hot water in both suites, and the WiFi is speedy enough to make your friends jealous when you share pics. Tucked into a quiet locals’ neighborhood, you’re just three blocks from the nearest beach. Casa Amor: where modern comfort meets tropical vibes—and where your vacation stories will practically write themselves. Guest access The entire place is yours to enjoy in complete privacy. Relax, unwind, and make it your own tropical retreat! For your safety and security, there’s a camera keeping an eye on the front gate and another overlooking the garden beyond the pool area. Don’t worry—your poolside lounging and hammock naps remain private. This is your slice of paradise! Other things to note There is a security camera located on the electrical post, pointing to the outside gate, street, and entrance. For your security. It is not automatically recording. It records on demand. A second camera is installed pointing to the back gardens. If you are staying for more than 5 days please water the plants. The garden will need to be maintained, but we will let you know when. Please remember we are in a REMOTE ISLAND IN THE MIDDLE OF THE Caribbean Ocean, resources are limited and difficult to access. Water and electricity are very expensive and sometimes get cut without notice. Please be prepared and act like a true islander !!
