Come stay at the famous Pilot Lodge! Enjoy a charming private cabin with woodlands and aviation right at your doorstep. The property is located just ten minutes from Big Lake, AK and has an easy-to-access private driveway. There are two rooms in total, a queen-size bed in the main bedroom, and a second smaller room with bunk beds. There are also two lofts with provided air mattresses. Want to fly? Glacier tours, bear viewing, and more are available at the Pilot Lodge, just ask your host! The space We also offer private glacier tours and bear tours to remote areas of the national parks in Alaska. Airtours and aircraft charter is an additional cost (you do receive a 10% discount on any air charters when staying with us). If you are arriving to the property by small aircraft we ask you tie-down your airplane on the south side of the airstrip. The space 🏡 The Cabin Layout (Great for Families/Groups): Master Bedroom: Features a comfortable Queen-size bed. Bunk Room: A second private room with bunk beds. The Lofts: Two separate loft areas available for additional sleeping (equipped with air mattresses). Living: Open plan living area with WiFi and mountain views. ✈️ Aviation & Adventure: Fly-In: We have a 1,100' airstrip. Please tie down on the south side. Tours: We offer private glacier tours and bear viewing in remote national parks. (Don't forget your 10% guest discount!). Car Rental: Need wheels? We have a rental car available for an additional fee to make your logistics easy. 📍 The Location: Located on a 100-acre ranch with abundant wildlife and mountain views. Accessible via car or private plane. WiFi is available in and around the cabin so you can stay connected. Guest access Guest access You have the cabin and the surrounding 5 acres entirely to yourself. You are welcome to explore the rest of the 100-acre ranch, but your immediate vicinity is private. You will have access to your private cabin which has a full kitchen, board games, washer/dryer, and even a piano! Other things to note Other things to note Sleeping Arrangements: Please note the lofts use air mattresses, making them best suited for children or adventurous adults.
