In Korbielów, it is primarily marked by skiing - some take advantage of the wide range of ski runs, others choose freeride descents, and still others skitour trips. Korbielów is also a great base for mountain hiking. Skis and snowboards ON Pilsko is the second highest ski resort in Poland. 18 km of slopes, a dozen or so lifts, illuminated slopes and well-developed infrastructure are a paradise for lovers of white madness. Beautifully located and exceptionally diverse ski trails are a great asset of Pilsko. On the one hand, we have wide and gentle slopes designed for beginners and a belt lift for the youngest skiers. On the other hand, demanding and adrenaline-pumping sections that are located in the higher parts of the massif. Freeride and ski touring The mighty Pilsen massif creates excellent conditions for freeride enthusiasts. In turn, the beautiful, little frequented trails of the Beskids are an ideal space for ski touring. Skiing in fresh powder between the trees is an extraordinary experience. On Pilsko you will find over a kilometer of routes, where you will be alone with the extraordinary nature. If you would like to try ski touring, the Żywiec Beskids are perfect for it. The trails are relatively gentle, but the views are breathtaking. There are ski touring guides and instructors as well as equipment rentals in the area. You can also take advantage of the offer of the SnowProgress snowboarding school, which is our partner. Campfire and sleigh ride A sleigh ride in winter scenery, a night lit only by torches and stars, has something extraordinary about it. The highlander sleigh ride is an entertainment full of joy and laughter. Fast riding in the fresh air can put you in a state of euphoria. Finally, there is a campfire with sausages. The Orawice thermal pools are famous for their hot, health-promoting geothermal springs. They are the ones that supply the swimming pools that are part of the Termy Orawice complex. It is worth visiting the thermal pools located on the Slovak side. From Korbielów, you can get there by car in 50 minutes. Some of the Orawa pools are located in the open air. Even on frosty days, the naturally warm water makes it possible to stay in the pool freely and admire the panorama of the mountains at the same time. In Orawice, we also recommend attractive ski routes. Żywiec Żywiec is an attractive tourist town. Perfect for a one-day trip from Korbielów. The extraordinary story of Żywiec speaks to us at every turn. The Old Castle is a Polish heritage. In turn, the nearby New Castle is the legacy of the Habsburg rule. We recommend a visit to both of these places, as well as a walk through the beautiful, historic Castle Park. We also encourage you to visit the Żywiec Market Square and the Brewery Museum. SUMMER Wild nature, secluded villages located in the valleys, the lack of large cities and industry make the Żywiec Beskids an oasis of peace. There is really something to do here in the summer. A dense network of hiking trails allows for both long, demanding trips and gentle walks with children. The local area is also popular with cycling enthusiasts. Korbielów itself is a charming town with many attractions. Mountain trips In Korbielów, four large hiking trails intersect, which you can use to cross the Żywiec Beskids lengthwise and widthwise. Pilsko Peak, Babia Góra, Hala Rysianka or Hala Lipowska are just some of the directions worth taking. The trails are well marked and allow you to adjust the route to your abilities. The exceptionally picturesque, yet gentle and short (2 hours of walking) trail to Rysianka is popular with families with children. Pilsko or Babia Góra is definitely a more demanding expedition. What should be emphasized is that the Żywiec Beskids are a place where you will not meet crowds of tourists. Bicycles The Żywiec Beskids have long been appreciated by connoisseurs of mountain biking. Multi-kilometer bicycle routes on the Polish side connect with routes on the Slovak side. There is definitely no shortage of climbs and descents. Amateurs of strong impressions can also count on hills with a high slope. Żywiec Lake and Orava Lake If you feel like sunbathing or sailing, you can go to one of the two nearby large lakes. Żywieckie Lake is located north of Korbielów, just behind Żywiec. Orava Lake is located south of Korbielów, just beyond the Polish-Slovak border. Both lakes have an extensive tourist base with beaches, water equipment rentals and catering. On-site attractions We have prepared a number of outdoor attractions for the guests of Narciarska 2. The resort has a heated swimming pool and a beach area by the stream. There is a relaxation area with hammocks and sun loungers. Children can use the mini climbing wall, swings and slides. Campfire or barbecue for groups For a larger group of people, we can organize a bonfire or a large barbecue in the mountain scenery.
