Designed especially for families with babies, toddlers, and young children, it offers a relaxed, safe, and sociable environment for a truly stress-free family holiday. 🏠 THE COTTAGE The Fleurie holiday cottage sleeps up to 4 guests and is arranged over two floors. ⬆️ Upstairs you’ll find: 🛏️ One double bedroom with a 140×200 bed 🛏️ One twin bedroom with two single beds (90×200) 👶 Space for a travel cot (provided free of charge on request) Also on this floor is a compact family bathroom with: Full-size bath Shower attachment WC and washbasin Both bedrooms offer practical storage with fitted wardrobes, hanging hooks, and drawers. As standard, you’ll find: * Stair gates * Non-slip bath mats * Potty & toilet training seat * Highchair & booster seat * Changing mat * Toys & books ➕ Additional items such as a bottle steriliser, baby chair, or duplicate equipment (ideal for twins or triplets) can be provided on request. 🏊 POOLS, GARDENS & PLAY AREAS La Grange du Moulin is a private, enclosed property exclusively for families with young children. 🏊‍♀️ Two heated swimming pools, including a dedicated toddler pool 🔒 Pool area is fully enclosed, alarmed, and secured with child-safety gates, fully compliant with French regulations 🌞 Main pool heated June–August 🌼 Toddler pool heated mid-May to end September There is also a large enclosed communal garden filled with toys, plus a ping-pong table for older children. 🎨 WEEKLY ACTIVITIES & FAMILY ATMOSPHERE Each week we organise child and toddler activities, such as: * Pottery painting * Fabric painting * Introductory scuba diving sessions Children make new friends while parents relax and connect with like-minded families during adult focused avtivities such as: * discover wine events * guided vineyard tour At La Grange du Moulin, we truly mean child-friendly — babies, toddlers, children, and parents are all welcome. Families share the communal gardens, pool, and play areas, making it easy for kids to make friends while parents relax. Other things to note ⚠️ Other Things to Note 👶 Exclusively for families with young children from 24th May to 15th September ❌ No pets 🚭 No smoking or vaping anywhere on the property (inside or out) – please use the parking area or leave the property if you wish to smoke 🎧 No music or radio outside (headphones only) 🏊 Swimming pools are only heated between 24th May and 15th September 🌳 Child-Friendly Environment This is a family-focused site, and because the cottages are close together, we ask guests to respect the quiet nature of the property. If you have older children, we have other more suitable properties locally. We live in a beautiful rural area, where the only sounds we love are birds singing and children laughing. 🏡 Cottage Style & Cleaning All cottages are rustic (over 200 years old) with exposed thick stone walls, old beams, creaky wooden floors upstairs, and tiled floors downstairs. Furnishings are simple and practical, designed for families — this is not 5★ luxury. End-of-stay cleaning is not included. Guests are expected to leave the house clean and tidy, with basic tasks done: Strip the bedding Empty bins and recycling Place towels in the bath Wash dishes Wipe down kitchen and bathroom Sweep floors Cottages are cleaned thoroughly before your stay, but wildlife may visit (spiders, mice, etc. from the countryside) — it’s all part of the rustic charm! 🛒 Location & Supplies We are in the countryside, so you will need to drive to essentials: Boulangerie: 4 km Supermarket: 12 km Beaches: 60 km Self-catering: we provide starter items for your arrival: Toilet roll, bin bag, washing-up liquid, hand soap A couple of dishwasher tablets Communal store: salt, pepper, oil, dried herbs & spices Fresh herbs from the garden Guests need to buy additional supplies as required: toilet roll, bin bags, washing powder, charcoal & lighter fluid for the BBQ. 🎨 Activities Pottery and fabric painting: held once per week throughout the season Teddy Bear Picnic: held only in May, June & September Some activities, such as yoga and wine tastings, require minimum numbers to run 💡 Guest Note Our cottages are designed for families who want a relaxed, child-friendly holiday.
