Alicudi, Aeolian Islands, Ancient farmhouse on a still wild island, furnished with island furniture, conservative restoration. The island has no cars, only mules carry luggage and groceries, the house is two hundred meters above sea level. It can only be reached on foot by the mule tracks with stairs (20/30 minutes on foot). An archaic island where nature is sovereign, slow times to connect to. No street lights, only stars and the moon. That's why the minimum stay in the house is seven nights. The space The house consists of two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, and two bathrooms, the second is a half bathroom with only a toilet. Each room has an independent entrance from the different terraces. There are 4 terraces, one main and others smaller, on different levels. The main terrace is an open-air room, in summer it is the living room and from it you can access the different rooms. A small secret garden is inside the property, with a lemon tree and a pomegranate tree. The house has the original structure of a late 19th-century farmhouse, it has only had conservative restorations with natural materials, every summer it is repainted, on the outside, with lime. Only the main bathroom was converted from part of the old kitchen. The house faces east and the sunrises. It is suspended between the sea and the sky, with a view that stretches from Stromboli to Etna. The house is recommended for people who love nature. The stairs to reach it from the sea and the stairs in the house make it unsuitable for children under 4 years of age and people with difficulty walking.
