Sunlight pours through tall windows onto original hardwood floors, and the grand staircase sets the tone the moment you walk in. Downstairs, gather in the historic sitting room and play the baby grand piano, or unwind after a long day under soaring 11-foot ceilings. All four bedrooms are upstairs. Bedroom #1 features a King bed and spacious layout. Bedroom #2 offers a King bed, double-sided desk, couch, and smart TV. Bedroom #3 includes a full-over-twin bunk with desk and smart TV. Bedroom #4 has a twin bunk. One full bath upstairs and a half bath downstairs. The property also includes access to the pool, fire pit, barn, and open farmland views. Please note this rental is for this unit. Other doors we kindly ask you not try to access as other guest have other spaces. Guest access As you arrive, you’ll see the Scarborough House sign and long circular drive welcoming you in. The Historic 1821 Estate sits proudly at the front of the property. Please park directly in front of the home. Most guests make a simple turn at the mailbox to enter the drive. This is a peaceful, rural setting surrounded by farmland. You will need a car, as restaurants and grocery stores are about 10–15 minutes away, with a gas station just a few miles down the road. The quiet and open space are part of the charm. Scarborough House is a multi-unit property. You are renting the Historic Home only. For everyone’s comfort and privacy, please do not enter the Pool House, Guest House, barn, or any other outbuildings unless they are part of your reservation. All bedrooms are upstairs. Other things to note All historic bedrooms are UPSTAIRS. There is NO oven or stove, only countertop appliances for light cooking. This is a pet-friendly property. Other guests have stayed with dogs and cats, so please book only if you are comfortable with that. All pets must remain leashed outdoors and are not permitted in the pool area or pool. POOL USE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK. The deep end is 8 feet. Swim suits are required. No glass of any kind in or around the pool area. No fires in the historic fireplaces. Outdoor fire pit use only when permitted and fully extinguished after use. No smoking or vaping inside any building. Please treat the home as you would a boutique hotel. Before departure, strip used bed linens and place used towels and blankets neatly at the bottom of the stairs.
