Ragged Island Retreat with its views of sparkling waters and golden sand banks has a bright open concept living space with a fully equipped kitchen; 3 bedrooms, full bath, laundry facilities and Wi-Fi. Use one of the cottage kayaks and cross the inlet to the sandbar directly opposite and walk to the magnificent Black Head beach. It’s a paddler’s paradise! The space Ragged Island Retreat, with more than 30 private waterfront acres, is a secluded, prow-fronted cottage that takes full advantage of its ruggedly beautiful setting. Overlooking the inner bay, the cottage has a filtered view of the pristine waters and sandbars beyond. On the ground floor there is a fully equipped compact kitchen, open-concept living and dining room; master bedroom, 4–piece bathroom and a laundry/utility room. The cottage sleeps 6 people in 3 bedrooms. The downstairs master bedroom has a queen size bed, while the upstairs there is a queen size bed in one bedroom and a set of bunk beds in the other. A loft seating area provides a fabulous view of the water. Floor to ceiling windows and a large deck complete with garden furniture and a BBQ extends the living space outside. Guest access Everything at the cottage is there for you to enjoy. There is BBQ (propane) on the deck and the kitchen is well equipped and stocked with all that you would need for cooking at home. There is a washer and dryer. All bed linens and one set of towels per guest are provided. Ragged Island Retreat has internet access and a small television for movie watching only (no satellite). The cottage has a firm no pet policy. Other things to note There are 3 kayaks at the cottage - 2 singles and 1 double and all the necessary equipment. There are 5 life vests in the following sizes: one Adult L/XL would fit someone up to at least about 225lbs (would suit any smaller adult, at a tighter setting of the straps); two "adult universal". The label in these says suitable for "chest 30 to 52 inches" (would suit any smaller adult, at a tighter setting of the straps) and two "adult small/medium". Marked as "chest 30 to 40 inches" (would cover most children). If these are not your size, bring your own. Ragged Island Retreat has a maximum occupancy limit of 6 guests. Any more – even it is visitors for the day, must be approved prior to arrival. There is a set of towels (Beach, Bath, Hand & two face cloths) supplied for each guest.
