Daufuskie Point of View

This beautiful, modern villa is nestled in the quiet Melrose Community on Daufuskie Island. During your stay in our villa you will enjoy ocean views from every room, warm ocean breezes on the large screened-in porch, and short walks to the white sandy beach. Views of the ocean abound, and there's plenty of sea life and nature to enjoy. We provide you with information regarding boat transportation to the island and cart rentals. Once on island, ground transportation to our villa is included. The space Our villa has a full kitchen and indoor and outdoor dining areas that can accommodate up to 6 guests comfortably. It is stocked with all utensils and serve ware, and boasts full size stainless steel appliances. We have city water and the water and ice from the refrigerator is filtered. We also have an electric range with warming drawer, microwave, dishwasher, full size coffee maker, blender, wine refrigerator, and full size washer and dryer to make island life and meal preparation easy for you and your family. The main living area features a big screen TV, DVD player, and Dish Satellite TV with Premium Sports Channels and internet streaming capability. Each bedroom also features a TV, DVD player, and DISH TV. The Master Bedroom has a King size bed and a large en suite bath with jetted tub for two, large walk-in shower, and dual vanities. The Guest Bedroom also has a large en suite bath with dual sinks and a tub/shower combination. We provide all linens, including deluxe resort style bath and beach towels for our guests. We also provide beach chairs, a beach umbrella, and a rolling cart with toys for children of all ages to take to the beach. We named our villa "Daufuskie Point of View" because it is on the second floor overlooking the resort community and features stunning views of the beach, ocean, sunrise, and moonrise, from every room. There is a large, 900 square foot, screened porch with multiple seating areas to enjoy time with family and friends or relax and enjoy watching the children play by the shore or dolphins and shrimp boats just offshore. Guests have private access to the screened porch from the main living area, as well as each bedroom. All of this, and less than 200 steps from one of the most quiet and pristine beaches you will find in the area. Pool and Fitness center access at the Melrose Oyster House and Beach club for up to 6 guests is also included for the duration of your stay. Guest access Guests will have full use of our villa during their stay with private access to the large screened-in porch from the main living area and each bedroom. Other things to note PLEASE NOTE: Our villa is on Daufuskie Island, off the coast of Hilton Head. The island is only accessible by ferry and you cannot bring your car on the ferry to the island. You will need to arrange transportation to the island and we will provide you with a list of the various boat services to the island when confirming your stay. There are boats that are easy to book and pet and family friendly out of both the Hilton Head and Savannah area. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us prior to booking.
