Barn Conversion -Threlkeld, Lake District
Description
Woodend is a renovated barn in a unique location in the heart of the Lake District with direct access to Blencathra (one of the finest mountains in the Lakes). The house is upside down to make the most of the amazing views of the mountains. The upstairs lounge is the perfect place for relaxing or planning adventures on the hills. A great property in an even better location. The space Three double bedrooms and a small single (with bunk bed) make up the accomodation. Upstairs there is an open-plan lounge, kitchen and dinning area with amazing views over the surrounding fells near Keswick. There is a family bathroom downstairs and a shower room upstairs. The house has been renovated to a high standard and is equipped for families as well as couples. Guest access The property has parking for three cars and is only five minutes walk from the bus stop in the village with links to Keswick and Penrith. Keswick is only 5 miles away and Penrith and the M6 is 15 miles. Being at the foot of Blencathra there are plenty of walks from the door. Other things to note The property is attached to the owners house and has a large shared garden. There is a separate area with table and chairs around the side of the house for guests to use. Due to allergies we are sorry we can not accept any pets on the property, however there is a very good boarding kennel less than 1km away that we can send details of if required.
