Mountain top Retreat

We make our property available so that our guests can experience the laid back off grid lifestyle. Our eco friendly cottage has solar power, gas cooking (or wood stove) and state of the art composting toilets (no flushing and no smell). The cottage is nestled into the side of 103 beautiful mountain acres of natural forest, with walking tracks at your back door. Peace and tranquillity are assured. On a clear night the milky way shines with amazing luminosity. The space Easy bush walks on the property. Easy access to all that the area has to offer. Please do not try to charge your electric vehicle using our power outlets. One guest tried this and used 30 liters of diesel from our backup generator. Our legacy, what will it be? Flowers in spring, Kookaburras in summer. Crimson and gold leaves in Autumn and glistening white frost in winter. Guest access You will have exclusive use of the cottage. The property has amazing granite boulders and bush walking tracks that you can wander along without seeing anyone else. After heavy rain it is possible that road access is restricted. Spring water in the green creek is clear, Moonlight on the cold mountain is white Silent knowledge- the spirit is enlightened of itself. Contemplate the void: this world exceeds stillness. Zen Master Han-Shan Other things to note Please note: This is an eco friendly property. We have off grid solar power and rainwater tanks. All toilets are composting toilets, they are just like regular toilets but you do not flush. They are state of the art composting toilets from 'nature loo', there is no smell but no foreign objects can be put into the system. We cannot offer wifi as there is no service available but Telstra has full coverage for mobile phones. PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO CHARGE YOUR EV USING OUR POWER POINTS.
