Lieselotte is our largest apartment at Sophienhof – spacious and generously laid out, offering plenty of room for up to 8 guests. It’s ideal for families or groups of friends who want to spend time together without giving up the option to retreat and have some space of their own. The apartment was lovingly renovated in 2021 and styled in a warm, cosy country-house look, while keeping the original character of the old building – including its charming creaky wooden floors. The space The apartment is located on the upper floor and can be accessed via a separate entrance with an external staircase. It is generously laid out and offers a total of five bedrooms: two single rooms and three double rooms, each with a double bed. One of these is set up as a children’s room with play facilities and is accessed through the main bedroom. Another double bedroom is separated from the living room by an open archway with a curtain. The living room door, however, provides full privacy from the rest of the apartment. The living room features a cosy reading nook, a working fireplace and a large curved Smart TV. A spacious dining area is located in the hallway directly next to the separate, well-equipped kitchen. The large shower room is bright and airy and also includes a washing machine and tumble dryer. The apartment is overall very light and filled with natural daylight. Throughout the apartment – except for the bathroom – you will find original wooden floorboards. They do creak slightly, which is part of the charm of the old country house. Basic supplies such as hand soap, washing-up liquid, dishwasher detergent and kitchen essentials are provided. Bed linen and towels can be booked optionally; they are included for stays of 7 nights or more. Guest access You are renting the entire apartment and have exclusive use of all rooms. The front garden is also available for your use. You are welcome to use the barbecue on the farm – either in the garden or opposite the external staircase leading up to the apartment. You are free to move around the farm and make use of the outdoor areas. As this is a working farm, we kindly ask you not to enter the stables, paddocks, pastures or private areas of the farm (such as the barn). Please do not feed the animals. The horses are happy to be stroked, though – over the fence. Other things to note The entire house can also be rented by combining the Lieselotte and Casimir apartments, offering a total of 16 beds. There is an internal connection between the two apartments. Please feel free to contact me regarding possible discounts for booking both apartments together.
