We are a wonderful oasis in the desert with amazing natural hot mineral water that flows continually into our 13 spas and pools. Our location is far enough to feel away from the hustle and bustle while still being just 20-30 minutes away from just about every type of shopping, dining, tours, and adventures you could want. This modern and tastefully decorated home is a perfect home base for your vacation to relax and soak in the California sun. The fenced backyard oasis and enchanting outdoor fireplace provide you privacy to nap, read a book, savor the sunset or visit with friends. The backyard has direct access to desert trails and wildlife. SAFETY: Our home is professionally cleaned and sanitized before and after each guest to ensure you have a safe experience. HOUSE: This home is one bedroom, one bath with a California room that has a covered patio and is fenced . The living space includes a comfortable hide a bed sofa, tv, dining space and spacious kitchen. The bedroom has an comfortable queen bed. The home is full of built in closets with tons of storage-- perfect for longer stays for those working from home, taking a long trip. Located just around the corner from the west side pool house-- it is very walkable to the mineral pools, hot tubs, gym and pickle ball courts. INTERNET + CELL SERVICE: Our internet is strong so you can confidently work from home. Verizon/Sprint work great! PETS: There are two lovely dog parks at the resort and plenty of hiking and walking trails. There is a $50 pet fee. COMMUNITY: There are 13 natural mineral pools in addition to hiking trails, tennis, pickle ball and basketball courts. There is even a farmer's market every Wednesday! (Weather permitting.) PARKING: Resort is completely walkable. Home has parking for one car in the driveway. LOCATION: 20-30 minutes from Palm Springs, 1 hour from Joshua Tree and 15 minutes from Coachella Valley Nature Preserve. You will feel the peace of being away from the world in the desert but can easily make day trips or go to the store for essentials. The resort has a market cafe at the west side clubhouse and Instacart delivers to your front door from Vons. AMENITIES: central AC laundry facilities available at the club house little market cafe next to the pool cable and smart tv in the living room weekly farmers market two dog parks tennis courts pickle ball courts basketball courts mineral water swimming pools and spas Very clean and well maintained laundry facilities are located within the gated resort and only a 2 min walk from your front door. PLEASE NOTE: This is a quiet & serene community of vacationers and permanent residents in the beautiful Sky Valley Resort. If you are looking for a place to get loud and party, this spot may not be for you. The community appreciates peace and quiet at all times and in all locations. Must be 25+ to book at Sky Valley Resort. Guest access You will be provided a gate code one day prior to your arrival. Other things to note 2020-2021 SKY VALLEY RESORTS RESIDENT AND GUEST RULES, REGULATIONS & STANDARDS: FACILITIES: Facilities are defined as any shared amenities of the Resort (e.g. pools, exercise rooms, halls, game rooms). (a) Management must approve any event to be held in Resort facilities. (b) Alcoholic beverages are permitted in Resort facilities with prior Management approval. (c) Smoking of any substance is not permitted in any Resort facility. (d) Individuals must be registered at the front office to use Resort facilities. This includes guests renting from private parties within the Resort. POOLS: (a) Shower immediately before entering pools, even if you showered at home. (b) No alcoholic beverages, smoking, or glass containers are allowed in the pool area. (c) Incontinent persons wearing diapers, including babies, are not allowed in the pools or spas. (d) No diving or jumping into the pools. (e) All posted rules must be observed and are subject to change. (f) All guests must be accompanied by tenant at all times. No lifeguard on duty. NOISE: (a) No disruptive noises between 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. from October through May. (b) No disruptive noises between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. from June through September. (c) No disruptive noises on Sunday. (d) No excessively loud vehicles are allowed in the Resort. SPEED. Maximum speed limit is 15 MPH at all times. GOLF CARTS: (a) All golf cart drivers must have a valid driver’s license or be accompanied by a responsible party with a valid driver’s license. BURNING OF COMBUSTIBLES: (a) Only gas burning fire pits or fire tables will be permitted to be used on an RV site. This includes Park Models. (b) The burning of any wood or other combustibles on a RV site is strictly prohibited. Combustibles include, but are not limited to; garbage, wood, brush, or paper products. (c) Burning of campfires outside the Resort perimeter fence are in violation of Riverside County and State of California Fire Codes and should be reported to the Riverside County Fire Department in the event of a fire emergency. (Cooking with charcoal briquets is allowed.) Guest access You will have the entire tiny house to yourself as well as access to all amenities the resort has to offer.
