Cabin with Porch, Sunrise Views & Musical Roots

With stunning 20 mile views of the hills of Tennessee plus the surrounding woods, this is the perfect place to rest and disconnect. The cabin was built decades ago by the manager of a famous country music artist. It has played host to country music royalty with the likes of Waylon Jennings, Alan Jackson, Emmylou Harris, Willie Nelson and many others. These legends spent countless evenings on the church pew on the front porch picking, grinning and drinking moonshine. The space Appliances include: Viking range, double ovens, warming drawer, 2 kitchen sinks, microwave, coffee maker, Keurig, toaster, table seats 8, bar seats 4, wifi, washer & dryer, 65" TV with bluetooth sound speaker. The front door opens to an open living room, dining room and kitchen. Just to the left of the front door you will find the half bath and spacious bedroom with a king bed. Through this bedroom is an extra room with two twin beds. Down the hall you will find a bedroom with a daybed and trundle. A Jack and Jill bathroom connects this bedroom and the one at the very end of the hall with a queen bed and bunk beds. The master is located down the hall to the left with an attached bathroom, king bed and direct access to the porch. The washer and dryer for the house is located in the closet attached to our master bedroom. The long porch can be accessed through both king bedrooms and the living room. While a very tall cabin in appearance, the entire living space is on one level and has no stairs to access. Please contact us with any additional accessibility questions. One of the king bedrooms has one step down. A portable pickle ball net with paddles and balls is available on the property. The net takes 5 to 10 minutes to set up and can be played on the driveway. We do try to cater to our guests and to your specific type of trip. If you are traveling with small children, we can have a pack and play set up and the Ikea high chair in the dining area. We have games and toys as well as a small table with two chairs for little ones. If your stay is for work or a meeting, we can have a white board available to you. Please request this when booking. Wedding guests are some of our frequent visitors. We have added a clothing steamer to our laundry room in addition to our iron, as we know you want to look your best for the big day. In some cases, your big day. We are glad to offer area recommendations for your group. While we cannot prepare for every possible need you may encounter for your trip, we do try our best to have items you would need for your stay. Here is a list of items we provide to help with your shopping list on your way in: Kitchen: Paper Towel Roll (and Backup is located in Microwave Cabinet) Hand Soap at Sinks Dish Soap at Sinks Dishwasher Detergent 12 Keurig Pods Ground Coffee for Drip Pot Coffee Filters Sugar Salt and Pepper Trash Bags Many other spices are available in our cabinet. Other items maybe available at your visit. We sometimes have tea or alternative sugars left from other guests. We leave one shelf of condiments in the refrigerator, but dispose of anything beyond that shelf. We try to keep plenty of kitchen cookware and items that you might need. If you see we have missed something, let us know. It took us a few months to realize we did not have a colander, so we always appreciate the feedback. Coffee brands could be Dunkin Donuts, Peets, Starbucks, Kirklands or other. We offer a Keurig, Twelve Pot Drip Coffeemaker, French Press, and a bean grinder. Bathrooms: 3 Rolls of Toilet Paper Per Bathroom Hand Soaps at Sinks Shampoo, Conditioner and Body Wash in Pump Bottles Dove, Native and Monday are the brands we are using at this time, but this could be different for your stay. Hair Dryer in Master and Hall Bathrooms Toiletries: I personally hate arriving at a location and realizing I've left something I need before bed. We do provide some of these toiletry items in the medicine cabinet of the hall bathroom and the cabinet in the master bathroom. Please check these before running to the store for a missing toothbrush. Laundry Room: Laundry Detergent Dryer Balls Dryer Sheets Iron Ironing Board Clothes Steamer Hand Vacuum Cleaning Towels: In our laundry, we have a drawer unit where we store our cleaning clothes as well as towels that have been demoted as guest towels. If you have a spill, wet shoes, or a dog in need, please feel free to use these towels. Outdoors: Firewood is now provided on site, covered on the driveway. Hanging outside the half bath you will find a canvas bag that you are welcome to use to transport wood to the fire pit from the driveway. Guest access The full house is available to guests. There is a locked cabinet in the bunk room closet and a few locked cabinets in the kitchen for cleaning supplies and backstop. All unlocked areas are available for use. Other things to note We do accept dog visitors with the following conditions: $100 animal fee - nonrefundable Animal must be disclosed and approved by owner before booking. Animal is not allowed on furniture. Animal must be crated if left at the property alone. Owner must supply crate. Animal owner must clean up property from pet feces. Animal owner must not use guest towels or blankets on animal or to clean up from animal. We do have towels for this purpose in the master closet. Animal must be on leash while on property. Neighbors do have dogs with an invisible fence who could bite if another dog were to enter their property. Homeowner does not take responsibility for animal harmed or injured on property included but not limited to, wild animals, neighboring animals, etc. $200 undisclosed animal fee. This fee will be applied as soon as host is aware of undisclosed animal, be that during or after the stay. An animal entering the house or the deck will be considered entering the property. Guests will be in violation of terms of service, and host will ask AirBnb for involvement. The guest booking the property is responsible for any other guests, friends, visitors bringing an animal onto the property.
