Guest suite in Portland

This getaway is a “Walker’s Paradise” with a walk score of 94/100. We are a stone’s throw from bustling restaurants, coffee shops, bars, groceries, antique stores, yoga, parks, and transit. This is a separate unit in a front/back duplex (1 BR, 1 BA) with separate entrance and direct access to a large shared backyard with hot tub, fire pit, and gas grill. Indoors boasts a full walk-thru kitchen, clawfoot tub in a private bath, dining and living room w/ futon and TV, and private bedroom. The space The bright and private bedroom has many windows overlooking the backyard and a comfortable queen bed with a high density memory foam topper. The living room and kitchen have newly refinished, 110 year old, original hardwood floors. The guest unit is a completely private guest space. The futon sofa in the living room is from a local Portland company (Rock Soft Futon) and is their Ultra Wool Futon with a 5" high density foam core, 4" of natural cotton, and 2" of natural wool. For families: We have a Pack 'n Play crib, and two highchairs we can set up upon request. Guest access Private access to guest unit in an attached duplex home. Entrance, living space, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom are all private guest space. There is a downslope from the kitchen to the bedroom and a slight tilt to the bathroom and dining area so please be mindful if you have accessibility needs. The backyard, hot tub, gas grill, and fire pit are shared space with the owners, but we tend to give guests privacy when they are using the hot tub. We try to greet guests when they arrive if we are available, but late check-in's are simple with keycode access. Other things to note There are stairs to enter and exit the home and a downslope in the kitchen, and very slight in the dining area and bathroom due to the settling of this older home.
