Description
Willow allows you to have a lazy breakfast and step straight onto one of the roads that lead in 2 mins into the city. Here you can leave your car in the free parking space we provide and explore this amazing place or art, pilgrimage, good food and wine and possibly the largest icecreams you have ever seen. From surf shops to woollen mill shops, from great pubs to small eclectic gift and art shops. From the bookshop from my childhood to the largest, hidden wonders of Wales. That's not all! The space Upstairs at Willow is the toilet and 3 double rooms (2 Kingsized beds). All with large windows letting in plenty of light. We pride ourselves on our bedlinen and quality of care when we wash and iron the bedding and make all your rooms up each time. Each visit and guest is special and beds and a goodnight sleep matter to us. The stairs are open and quaint and with 2 landings and open ceilings over the stairs and the front two rooms, the vaulted ceilings give space and light to what was a small cottage. With previous extensions and changes, each bedroom feels light and airy. This is a home. I live here between bookings and for long periods Autumn and Winter. I rent out one room a lot and cater particularly for single guests and couples, hence the reasonable rates for single folk. The booking is per person, per room, per night. Make sure you let me know clearly on room requirements when you make your booking. Other guests can stay during your booking through a direct booking with me. If 2 guests book and need 2 rooms Its discretional if I charge for linen. If after arrival another room is requested there is a charge for the bedlinen and time if Jill or I come over but not excessive. Remember this cottage, like many here, is quaint and old with character and many modernisations. The tiny windows have made way for larger, double glazed windows throughout the entire front to allow the sunrise and morning sun to stream into the rooms. Guest access Your nearest beach is Whitesands with a tarmac parking area near the shop, loos and cafe and then overfill car parks onto grass. Parking is £5 in season. Here you can swim, surf, kayak and windsurf or try paddleboarding too. St Davids offers Coasteering at Tyf with expert training and guides as well as trips to Ramsey Island. St Davids has a pharmacy in the square and a surgery opposite for all those moments when we all need either some help, care or emergency support. Other things to note It doesn't always rain in Wales you know! Please be aware that wind, salt spray and saltwater swimming means we all burn very quickly, even on an overcast day. Heat stroke is a risk for young children and children on beaches. Take very good care of your selves and especially children who are very young or those who argue with their parents about putting on sun screen! If you come home and sit on the patio in the sun after a day on the beach you will carry on burning. Have fun, relax and take care of your skin and health Long day on the beach in the sun? Dont use the hot tub especially for children. Children can become overwhelmed and ill after a long day on beaches and then sit in a hottub. They cant regulate their body temps like adults can.
