Description
Welcome to the "King's Chamber"! Its name reflects its history: in the bourgeois houses of the time, it was customary to keep a room always ready in case the king made a surprise visit. And not just any room, the most beautiful one! The en-suite bathroom is refined, as is the bedroom, inviting you to become a member of the royal family for a romantic stay. Breakfast is included. The space The guest room includes a bedroom with a 140 cm bed and an en-suite bathroom with toilet. Wi-Fi connection. Breakfast served in our private lounge or on the terrace depending on the weather. Please note: access only to the bedroom and castle park, no access to a kitchen. I advise you to book in advance at nearby restaurants. The guest room is on the first floor of the castle. This 19th century building has retained the spirit of its time thanks to antique furniture, while modernizing to meet the requirements of modern comfort. Breakfast, linens and cleaning fees are included in the price. Guest access Come and enjoy the quiet and flowery park: reading in a deckchair in the shade of large maples, and why not, a game of bowls or mölkky on the petanque court, the less sporty can settle quietly in the garden furniture for a convivial moment around a drink. In addition, a large room houses a ping-pong table and a foosball table. The estate extends over 12 hectares around the house: meadows, where horses graze, surrounded by large woods where beech and chestnut trees stand. Whether you are a beginner or experienced, for a lesson or a ride, young and old can enjoy the stay to ride horses in this magical setting. A few families of farmers and vacationers live in the hamlet located in the Lévézou Mountains and Lakes region as well as at the entrance to the Grands Causses Regional Natural Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. No less than 5 lakes are nearby, including Villefranche-de-Panat 4 km away, and Pareloup 25 km away, one of the largest artificial lakes in France. Content with the many swims, fishing trips and water activities, you can also enjoy the many surrounding hardwood and coniferous forests for hiking or mountain biking, as well as picking depending on the season. About an hour from Albi, Millau and Rodez, there are also plenty of cultural activities. There are many sights to see and picturesque villages: the Roquefort cellars, Micropolis the city of insects, Brousse le Château, Peyre, the Raspes du Tarn… During your stay I am present on the estate almost every day and will be happy to answer any of your questions and assist you if needed! Other things to note Breakfast is included and will be served in our private lounge or on the terrace, depending on the weather. Enjoy a typical breakfast including coffee or tea, toast, butter, homemade jam and juice. If you have specific preferences, please let me know your requests, I will be happy to adapt. The sooner you express your preferences, the better I can take them into account!
