This stylish mid-century-modern home, owned by an architect, is your perfect getaway spot between the airport and downtown Seattle with great connections. -100% private, no sharing amenities -14 mins drive to downtown, 12 mins to airport. -10 mins walk to light rail station. -Self check-in (keybox at entry) -Newly remodeled, brand new kitchen and appliances -Quiet and super safe neighborhood at a dead-end street. The space This is a one-story home with a basement, the entire main floor is for Airbnb while we use the basement as an architect's office/storage, the two levels are completely separated with their own entrances, 100% private. 1. Arriving Entrance: Self-check-in with a key box on the door. Guest can park at our private driveway in front of the garage door, we need to access the garage to charge our car occasionally, will inform guest when it’s needed. There are also plenty of street parkings available in front of the house. 2. Transportation Driving: 12-15 mins to downtown Seattle, 12 mins to SEA-TAC airport, 8 mins drive to I5 North, 5 mins drive to I5 South. (ETA based on no traffic) Light rail: Around 10 mins walk through a quiet green way to Link light-rail station ( the way is on a slope if you plan to come from the airport with luggage we recommend you to take a taxi/uber ) . The light rail will take you 2 stops to SEA-TAC airport, 6 stops to downtown. Uber: The place is 2 mins drive to the main road (MLK Way), tons of uber (or Lyft) around. Neighborhood and safety A quiet and very safe neighborhood on a dead-end street. We own two houses in the same neighborhood, and know all our neighbors around, they are nice and decent. There is a neighborhood park/ playground on 39th Ave S, good for playing with kids, 2 mins walk from our house. 4. Getting around Grocery There are two main grocery centers around, both around 6-8 mins drive. One is at Othello station (S Othello St & MLK Way), there are Safeway, Starbucks, UPS, Banks Asian supermarkets, and restaurants. The other one is at Rainier Ave S & 52nd Ave S, there are Safeway, gas station, Dollar Tree, Rite Aid, Jack in the box, McDonald's, KFC etc. Parks/ Recreation There are some beautiful parks nearby, one is Kubota garden, it's a Japanese garden just 6 mins drive from our place, very quiet and zen. The other one is Seward Park, 16 mins drive toward the north from our place, it's a tiny island surrounded by Lake Washington, there are swimming facilities, bbq and picnic areas, biking trails, with a scenic view of Mount Rainier from the lake. Boeing Museum of Flight It's one of the must go point of interest in Seattle, which is only 8 mins drive from us. Shopping 12 mins drive to Southcenter mall, a huge shopping center with all the big brands. Also 12 mins to Renton, where you can find Walmart, Ikea, Uwajimaya etc. Guest access Spaces for guests to use 1. Spacious living room with 65 inches TV 2. Newly remodeled kitchen with island seatings and dining table 3. Two bedrooms with queen size bed and 12 inches mattress 4. bathroom with shower 5. Laundry room at the side of the house, please contact us if you need to use it we will unlock the door for you. Spaces are not for guests 1. Backyard is not accessible for guests 2.
