La Casina del Faro is a charming loft on the roofs of a historic building overlooking the port of Livorno. Designed to be a poetic and fascinating space, it enjoys a three hundred and sixty degree view of the historic center. Despite being located on the fifth floor without an elevator :), once you reach the top you will feel like you have been transported to another world, so close to the sea that you can smell it directly while sitting on the sofa. The space The Casina del Faro is divided into two floors. On the first floor, we find a unique space with a kitchenette, a romantic double bedroom obtained from an attic, and a magnificent pocket terrace from which you can see the lighthouse of the port of Livorno, the island of Gorgona, and the Apuan Alps. On the second floor, which is reached via an iron and wooden staircase, we are welcomed into a small study corner from which we can access the bathroom with shower and the double bedroom. From every window of the house, and there are many, you can enjoy a particular view, made up of glimpses of the sea, ships sailing and red roofs. Guest access The Casina del Faro is located in the historic center of Livorno, accessible to cars and without restrictions. In the adjacent square (Piazza Giovane Italia) you can find free parking, while along the Scali Manzoni you can easily find a place in paid areas. However, we recommend that you reach us using the public transport available in the municipal area. From the Livorno train station, you can get to Via della Maddalena very easily, choosing the LAM BLU bus line or number 8R and getting off at the Piazza Mazzini stop about 200 meters from the Casina del Faro. Alternatively, if you are traveling by bicycle or plan to rent one, you can travel along the many cycle paths that cross the city and you will discover that Livorno is an ideal city to visit on two wheels.
