If you are looking to get away in seclusion and be with Mother Nature, this is the home. Very quiet, with a running creek beside the home. Walking distance to the Ohio river, two outdoor decks, one with a grill. A car port, full kitchen, two full baths, paved driveway, trees all around. The home sits between two hill ridges surrounded by 180 acres. It is a park like setting. 30 minutes from Gene Snyder and I-71 (Louisville). Historic Lagrange Ky and Madison In, are a must see and close by. The space This home is so different from other settings. It is like a park with a running creek beside the house. Just walk outside and only hear the the birds singing and the water from the creek traveling to the river close by. The inside of the home has a contemporary flare, built 25 years ago. A total of 3 bedrooms, two of the bedrooms (1 Queen and 2 twin beds) are upstairs with a full bath including a garden tub. The main floor has the kitchen, den room, bathroom with shower, and NOW a 3rd bedroom with a queen bed. The kitchen and dining room lead out to a deck with a gas grill and a table setting for 6. There is a deck on the rear of the home too. Watch the sun go down over the river and pond. Mother Nature is all around. Entry to the house is via the carport/garage man door. The main floor is accessed via a stairway from an inside finished area on the the garage level. Verizon cell service has the best signal strength. I would suggest planning to arrive to the property the first time, during the day. It can be difficult to find during the night. There are electric gates to enter the property with a code. Keep in mind that this property is a minimum of 10 minutes away from the closest store and fuel station. Other points of interest are even further away in distance. This makes it even more quiet and peaceful to know you are truly with mother nature. Update- the river property across the street is now part of Atoka Farms, for your enjoyment, with 1300 ft of shoreline, a gathering shelter to relax and enjoy the sunsets over the river. A bathroom is at the gathering shelter. You can fish off the river bank. And there is a launch ramp and floating dock marina on the property, in case you want to bring your boat. The river property is a 16 acre tract. Update - the homes decks now have roof structures to protect you from the elements above. Update - All beds mattresses have been updated. The 2 queen beds are Tempu Pedic mattresses that you sink in for full body support. The two single mattresses have been updated to high quality conventional mattresses. Update- Now have Wifi and Spectrum internet for the TVs. Guest access The entire home is yours for the time you spend there. Entry is from the garage/carport man door. I will provide the electric gate and house code on the day of arrival. The codes get changed for every new quest. I meet all of my guest during arrival. I show them the guest access to the property and the home. I go get the house rules and things of interest locally. Other things to note This is an adult only property due to the running creek beside the house and the fragile items in the home. The property has an electric entry gate from the main road. The house is not visible from the main road during the foliage months. The traffic on the main road is extremely minimal. There may be 10 vehicles travel the main road in a days time. Cell phone signal is best with Verizon, but other work fair too. Update- the home now has Wifi and cable TV. Update -The river property across the street is now part of Atoka Farms, and guest use, with a gathering shelter, refrigerator, and bathroom. watching the sunsets river next to the river is spectacular. There is a launch ramp and a floating dock marina on the river property. Update- New roofs over the outside decks, at the house, have now been built, to protect guest from the elements. Update- New carpet and new mattresses have been installed. Queen mattresses are Tempu Pedic with soft, sink in feeling that support full body.
