Detached house in Alsace at the foot of the Ballon d'Alsace, in Sewen. Sewen is a small village at the bottom of the Doller Valley. If you're looking for peace and nature, you won't be disappointed. Come and enjoy this house as a family. The house is classified as a 3-star cottage. From the house, you can reach marked trails for hiking and biking. Discover lakes and chalets. Come and taste the specialties of farm inns. The space The space The house has: - an equipped kitchen (an induction hob, an oven, a range hood, a microwave, a raclette, fondue, toaster, filter coffee maker, a Senseo, kettle, a dishwasher............). - a living room, a dining room with a fireplace - a toilet - a room with a pool table upstairs: - 3 bedrooms with a 140*190 bed Bathroom with shower, bathtub, toilet Beds are made upon arrival. Towels and dish towels are also on site. If you have a baby, we have the option to provide you with a crib, a high chair, a bottle warmer, and a baby cook, a bathtub and a changing table. Come and hike and discover the beautiful colors of fall that nature offers us. It's a great show. When fall gives way to winter,and when the weather allows, we are 10 km from a family ski resort, for all levels. You can ski at the Ballon d 'Alsace 10 km away or at the Schlumpf in Dolleren( for confirmed skiers), 5 km away, come and enjoy the joys of snow. Trail skiing, cross country skiing, sled dogs, snowshoeing, igloos, snowball battles, or just sledding. If you have snowshoes, take them with you, for some hikes in winter they may be helpful. If you like walking, we are at the start of many marked walking paths. From the house you will have the opportunity to discover the lakes of our mountains ( Lac du Neuweiher, Lac des Perches, Lac de Sewen , Lac d 'Alfeld, Lac du Lachtelweiher) and the chalets for a picnic. Weather permitting, go around the top of the Ballon d 'Alsace and enjoy a beautiful view of the Swiss Alps and Mont Blanc. If you like cycling, there is the Doller bike path which is very nice for everyone, without any difficulty. It starts in Sewen and goes to Burnhaupt -le-Haut. It is the old route of the railway and allows you to discover our green valley. Le Ballon d 'Alsace ( 1247 m d' alt.), the Col du Hunsruck,( 748 m alt.), for cyclists who want to make passes. In the village of Oberbruck, 3 kilometers away, is a boulangerie, a proxi and a butcher-charcuterie ( in Oberbruck ). The closest town ( Masevaux ) is within 10 minutes drive. Cleaning: We don't charge a cleaning fee. That's why we ask you to return the house clean to us, i.e. in the same condition as when you arrive at the cottage. If you don't want to clean, we'll do it for you but we'll charge you a €80 cleaning fee. Registration Details 068MS000264
