Beautiful Normandy farmhouse near Lyons-la-Forêt

On the edge of the forest and at the foot of the Lieure, come and enjoy a relaxing stay in our beautiful red brick Norman farmhouse. Located just 1 hour and 15 minutes from Paris and 4 km from Lyons la Forêt, our newly renovated house offers all modern comforts while retaining the charm of the old. With an area of 110 m2, this house is located on a large green and wooded garden in which you will find garden tables, deckchairs and children's games and an above-ground pool. The space The house is a typical single-story Norman farmhouse composed of 3 bedrooms: - 1 bedroom of 12 m2 with a double bed, ideal for a couple - 1 bedroom of 16 m2 with a double bed, a wardrobe, also ideal for a couple (Possibility to add an extra bed or baby bed) - 1 bedroom of 10 m2 with a single bed and a pull-out bed, a wardrobe and a dressing table, ideal for 2 children or 2 adults. In addition to these 3 bedrooms, you will enjoy a double living room of 40 m2 with a dining area composed of an extendable table that can accommodate up to 10 people, a sideboard, and a coffee table accompanied by its 4 chairs for children. The living room side consists of 2 cozy sofas, a gigogne coffee table and a majestic fireplace. A separate kitchen fully equipped so you can prepare good dishes awaits you. After a good day in the countryside, you can bask in a bath in our comfortable bathroom. In addition to all this indoor space, you can enjoy an outdoor space of more than 2000 m2. Our wooded garden will allow you to enjoy the beautiful days while staying at home: - At the front of the house, facing south, a table for 4 people awaits you for your breakfasts. Two deckchairs will allow you to take your naps in the sun. - At the back of the house, you can enjoy a table for 8 people for your sunny meals with friends or family. Two lounge chairs will allow you to bask to digest your meal. For children, young and old, a trampoline and a slide/swing are at your disposal. Below are the indications for using the pool: Before use 1. Remove the protective cover 2. Operate the filtration pump: - turn the gray taps present at the suction and discharge nozzles, - plug in the pump socket - turn the ignition button to position 4 for 4 hours of filtration - let the filtration take place - at the end of the filtration, turn off the pump, disconnect it - close the valves at the suction and discharge nozzles. 3. Clean any debris on the surface of the pool with the dip net 4. Install the ladder with one part inside and one outside 5. For added stability, install the slabs on the feet of the ladder outside the pool 6. Enjoy the pool!!! 7. Replace the protective cover after use to avoid exhausting yourself with the net :). Guest access The house is accessible by car. You can park 3 cars there. In the neighborhood, you can get around by bicycle or on foot to access the forest and visit the village of Rosay-sur-Lieure. To get out of the village, the car and bike are the best options. Other things to note By renting our house, we provide you with the time of your stay: - hand towels, - bath towels, - bed linen, - toilet paper, - hand wash cream, - dishwashing liquid, - tea towels. So many things you won't have to worry about when preparing for your stay. In winter, an increase of 15% to 25% of the nightly rate will be applied, taking into account the additional charges related to energy (mainly fuel oil). In summer and for long weekends of the year, we prefer bookings of at least 5 nights. The rate applied is a rate for 4 adults, any additional person resulting in an additional cost, the amount of which will be communicated at the time of booking. Please also let us know if you would like to use the fireplace, and we will let you know at that time the additional costs associated with the purchase of wood.
