Cody Trout Ranch Camp Trout Tipi

You can rent and stay in one of our fully furnished tipis near our fishing pond. The tipis have charcoal only grills, picnic tables, and there is a community fire pit nearby. There are clean laundry, bathroom, and shower facilities near the office, just up a small hill from the tipis. There is electricity available for guests with medical needs. NOTE: These are canvas tipis, which means the doors cannot be locked, there are holes in the top for airflow, and there is no wifi or running water. The space Each tipi is 20' in diameter and is fully furnished with a queen bed, full size futon, and a small couch that folds to the size of a twin if needed. All blankets, pillows and towels are provided. Guest access It’s the perfect vacation home base for exploring the historic town of Cody and only an hour away from the east entrance to the famed Yellowstone National Park! We are located at 1 Trout Ranch Road, Cody, WY 82414. Look for the Billboard on Hwy US Hwy 14-A toward Powell, Wyoming only 5 miles out of downtown Cody! Other things to note We have one very small fishing pond that guests can try their luck at catching different kinds of trout. You do not need a Wyoming Fishing License to fish in our fishing pond. Tipi/wagon guests on the river are allowed to fish on the river, with your own equipment and you are required to purchase a Wyoming Fishing License. *Please note that there is no food, fridge, or cooking utensils provided. You are encouraged to bring your own food, cooler/ice, and there is a microwave available for your use in our community coffee lounge. Also, the tipis/wagons are about 1/2 mile drive from the office and the road does get steep towards the end. We are not responsible for the ever changing Wyoming weather, illness, disease, allergies, etc. Please take this into consideration when booking, especially later in the season. All tipis include a propane heater for guest use, and extra blankets are available upon request in the office.
