Parking is free downtown on weekends and is completely free in our shared driveway. In most places, parking and traffic are not an issue in Ithaca. There is a lovely winery less than 3 miles down the street called Six Mile Creek winery and also a charming local hangout called Brookton's Market, with made to order sandwiches and a large selection of craft beers/ciders/kombucha/wine, both less than a 5-minute drive away. East Hill Plaza is a 7-minute drive, where you can find a supermarket, Walgreens, liquor store, ATM, and cafe. When you arrive we provide restaurant suggestions also. Other things to note Cell service at the house varies depending on the provider so we message and make calls through our WiFi. AT&T service is great. We live upstairs in the house so you may hear occasional footsteps and voices; we do our best to keep noise to a minimum, especially at night time. There is a stairwell between us that we lock and block off. This stay is not conducive for infants and young children due to safety reasons. This stay also does not allow pets/animals. Drinking water is very high quality with advanced filtration system. Cars and parking: The gravel driveway is shared and is easy to get in and out of when needed. Nobody blocks each other. Guests are limited to 3 cars maximum in the driveway lined up behind one another in front of the shed. Please leave spot for host on the left. Do not park in the turnaround. Number of guests: This listing allows up to 4 total people on the property which includes those on the reservation and your guests. Winter folks: Please remember that there are snow storms. Consider bringing an all wheel drive, 4 wheel drive, and all season tires vehicle. We will do our best to shovel and snow blow the driveway.
