Welcome to Croftby Hills, a timeless country retreat in Queensland’s Scenic Rim. Just 1.5 hours’ from Brisbane, it feels a world away yet close enough for an easy escape. This enchanting 1920s farmhouse sits on 8 private acres with fresh country air, grazing cattle, a wandering creek and dam. Families can unwind while kids enjoy go-karts, tree houses and open spaces. Relax with a drink at our rustic bar, toast a marshmallow by the fire pit, or soak in the claw-foot bath overlooking Mount Moon The space Nestled on 8 acres of farmland, our 1920s-built home is a haven of charm, offering all living spaces on a single level for convenience. Croftby Hills, is charming and homely perfect for families (including pets) or friends wanting to escape. Bedrooms 1 and 2 feature queen beds, while the 3rd room accommodates 4-6 kids with double bunks and roll-out mattresses. Comfortably fitting -10 people in total. Please note, due to bunk weight restrictions, the house accommodates a maximum of 6 adults. The house features natural breezes, fans and air conditioning. Additional guests can be accommodated on the property either camping or by booking our additional Croftby Hills Cabin property. The spacious bathroom, complete with a shower and vanity, boasts an enchanting claw foot bath on the enclosed verandah, providing breathtaking views of Mount Moon. As day turns to night, the property transforms into a magical escape with neighboring cattle coming for a vist, an outdoor fire pit, farm bar/ games room. Spectacular star gazing awaits under the night sky. Our expansive grounds offer spacious, flat lawns perfect for hosting special occasions and celebrations. The stunning natural beauty and panoramic views of Mount Moon provide a fairy-tale backdrop, setting the stage for intimate weddings or other memorable events. Croftby Hills, situated 20 minutes from Boonah, 10 minutes from Bunjurgan Winery, Mt Alford and the Scenic Rim Brewery, and 10 minutes from Kooroomba Lavender Farm and Winery, and 15 minutes from local water holes. Guest access You’ll have access to all 8 acres including the entire house and double garage. Please note the property has a steep gravel driveway which unfortunately isn’t suitable for lowered vehicles. Other things to note Weddings and special events require permission prior to hosting and are subject to terms and conditions. Additional accommodation for 4 x people is available at our Croftby Hills Cabin property and or seek permission for additional guests to camp. There is one security camera at the property located facing the shed, no other areas are monitored for privacy to our guests.
