Here in Brighton Heights, you’ll be rooted in the coziness of an urban neighborhood while being close to everything metropolitan Pittsburgh has to offer. **Please see ‘Other Details to Note’ section for more.** The space About the Space The PITT Stop has been designed to offer you a customized hotel suite without the hassle of a front desk and the peace of mind that comes with being the only guest during your stay. Every inch of this property was lovingly crafted to present an experience full of welcoming warmth and urban charm. Opting for a clean and modern feel, you’ll find this space equipped for the most selective guests. A cozy and inviting living space awaits with features including snacks and drinks available for purchase and a complimentary coffee bar. The living space displays the works of local artisans to complement a contemporary decor with nods to the city of Pittsburgh at every turn. The colors are serene and neutral with comfort as the standard. The street level space includes a Private Bedroom with a Queen Bed, a Living Room, a Bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a Laundry Room. Plenty of towels and linens for the duration of your stay. Featuring a private bedroom separate from the lounge area, The PITT Stop is able to comfortably accommodate 2 adults sharing the Queen Bed while an additional child could occupy the couch or available air mattress in the lounge area. The outdoor amenities were made for convenience with a driveway that leads directly to your own keyless entrance accessed via personal pin. Just a 3 minute drive to Bayne Park, which hosts a Farmers Market every Wednesday from 3-7pm From June 2nd until October 27th. Lincoln Ave, which spans from Brighton Heights to Bellevue, is packed with local eats. Choose between Thai, Tiramisu or Tacos any night of the week. With a year-round population hovering somewhere around the 7,000 mark, Brighton Heights is located between Bellevue and Manchester and yet a world apart with its quiet and charming vibe. (Select Snacks & Merch are available for purchase) POSSIBLE INCONVENIENCES Noise Level - Please note that the space you will be occupying is in the private bottom floor of our full time home. The Pitt Stop BEDROOM is located just BELOW our KITCHEN, and the LOUNGE is located just BELOW our DINING ROOM. We are extremely courteous hosts and do try to limit our time in those rooms while we have guests however, breakfast and dinner are a few times you may hear us occupying those areas. - It is also worth noting that the FURNACE is located in the LOUNGE’S Utility Closet. Like most homes, when it powers on/off, it can be loud. TEMPERATURE - The thermostat that controls the home temperature is located in the main part of the house. In the colder months we try to keep the home at a comfortable 71 degrees. Please let us know if you need it higher or lower. - The Pitts Stop BEDROOM is located just off the DRIVEWAY so you may get some of that cool air finding its way in through the crevices of the door. There are SPACE HEATERS conveniently located in both the BEDROOM and the LOUNGE for your climate control preferences. LAYOUT - Upon entry into The Pitt Stop you’ll notice that the BEDROOM & LOUNGE are connected by a single door. - Similarly, the BATH & LAUNDRY ROOM are connected by a single door. - There is a 3x3 HALLWAY that separates the LOUNGE from the BATH & LAUNDRY ROOMS. - The presence of this HALLWAY could make you feel like The Pitt Stop is not exclusive to you during your stay since WE could also access to the same area however we can ensure you that we NEVER enter the Airbnb when it is booked. ** These inconveniences are noted in some of the reviews left by our past guests so in the spirit of transparency we wanted to mentioned them before you choose to stay with us. **
