Enjoy your stay in a charming 3-bedroom bungalow just minutes from Williams-Brice Stadium, Fort Jackson, SC State Fairgrounds, Riverbanks Zoo, Downtown Columbia, and 5-Points shopping and restaurants. Your host Lindsay is a former event planner, so she will make sure you have everything you need for a comfortable visit. Lindsay and her husband lived in this house before they had kids. It was their first home together. They hope that you will feel as at home as possible during your stay. The space Our cozy kitchen includes full-sized updated appliances. The charming open floor plan includes a dining area and wood-burning fireplace. Enjoy a great night’s sleep in one of the 3 comfortable bedrooms. The Master bedroom has a King bed and pillow-top mattress, room darkening curtains, and an en-suite full bathroom. The Second bedroom has a Queen bed with a pillow top mattress, room darkening curtains and a full bathroom, including a bathtub. The upstairs loft has a Full bed, privacy curtains and a half bath (please note that the loft bedroom can be quite warm in the South Carolina heat, but should be comfortable in the cooler months - fans are available, but it can still be hot up there. This space is also open to the living room by both the window and the stairs, but curtains are included for privacy). Spend your evening on the spacious front porch, complete with a porch swing. An additional sitting room can be closed off with pocket doors for extra privacy, and while it does not include a desk, it can be used as an office space. Guest access Many guests and neighbors use the circle green for additional parking, which is helpful if your party have more than 2 vehicles. This area is only about 15 feet from the mailbox, making it very convenient for parking. Other things to note If the front porch steps are an issue, the back door can be accessed through the back yard after the house has been unlocked from the front door. This can be helpful if you are bringing in luggage or groceries. Please be aware that Columbia is a train city and the house is near some train tracks, as well as a private airport. Most people do not find these to be disruptive, as both are used infrequently, but we do want to make our guests aware that these are nearby.
