You found the perfect waterfront spot to enjoy the beauty of the Back Bay & the ocean! Just a 5 minute walk to the beach to see the dolphins, seagulls, & sand crabs! Try our 3 kayaks (1 tandem, 2 single), Jon boat with oars, paddleboard & surfboard! Ride bikes around the neighborhood, fish straight off the porch, and try our crab trap. Our favorite spot is relaxing on the porch enjoying the bay sunset. Come get that peaceful, easy feeling sitting on the dock of the bay! You won' want to leave! The space There are 2 bedrooms: The master has a queen bed with a mattress with memory foam topper, closet storage space and a TV, with a sliding door for privacy. The second bedroom has a futon bed with a twin mattress, closet, and TV. There is a porta crib available and also a twin air mattress that fits on the floor next to the futon bed. The den has a double reclining sofa with a pull-down tray/drink/charging station console in the center, and a TV. There is a kitchen table with four chairs, as well as a bar area with two stools. The kitchen has everything you need to eat-in and enjoy yourself, including a full oven, microwave, Mr. Coffee, single kuerig, toaster oven, smoothie blender, and full fridge. There is a stackable washer and dryer in the hallway closet, and one full bathroom. If needed there are full sized laundry services available in the community bath house. The most loved space is the spacious deck with outdoor furniture to relax and enjoy the bay views, sipping coffee and watching the sun rise. The deck has latched gates on both sides for an enclosed space to keep children safe. Guest access You will have full acess to our home, deck, and waterfront with two parking spots out front. You will also have access to the resort community areas like the exercise rooms with saunas, 2 pools, tennis/pickleball courts, boat ramp, playground, and bathhouses. Other things to note Welcome to our paradise, perfect for a couple of adults, or a family with small children! There is no better place than the outdoors! You can fish right off the porch! White bass, catfish, perch, shad and carp have all been caught here! Fishing poles are included, as well as a Jon boat with oars, and a tandem and 2 single kayaks! Or try paddleboarding and surfing! There is also a boat ramp if you bring your own toys :) We also have a crab trap for use. In the storage shed there are a few beach chairs and sand toys, and a fat wheel dollie to haul your beach gear, umbrellas, and coolers to the beach easily through the sand. Also in the shed are several multi sized life jackets. We have tennis balls and racquets, and a beach volleyball available for use. The 2 community pools are open seasonally from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Also enjoy the playground, exercise room and sauna! The community is gated and neighbors will wave when you go by; it is a safe area for your family and kids. We are also located near the Little Island Park and the Pier. The Baja restaurant is located right outside the gate with great food and seasonal live music. Across the street Jose Tequilas Mexican Bar and Grill is located at the base of the colorful condos. Also make sure to check out the Seaside Market for homemade donuts that are always a big hit! The Back Bay Reserve/False Cape Park is right past our resort. You can spend the day biking, hiking, or enjoying a peaceful beach in solitude! If you are a nature lover tree frogs sing here in season, turtles swim nearby, and keep your eyes out for the dolphin that love to play near the kayaks! There are many forms of wildlife you can see, including Ospreys nesting! Virginia Beach/boardwalk is 15 minutes away, along with the Virginia Aquarium (with Adventure Ropes/Ziplining courses), and Ocean Breeze, a local waterpark.
