Or, simply relax and unwind in the serene natural surroundings of the Hudson Valley and the Berkshires. The space Our 3 story cedar planked home is located on 5 well manicured acres and offers 4 Bedrooms, 3 &1/2 Bathrooms, 2 living room, a country kitchen, and dining room. As you enter the home through the enclosed mudroom, you will be greeted by the the cherry wood floors that expand through the top two levels. On the Main level you will find the country kitchen perfect for the chef to create a meal, a dining room to enjoy a feast with family and friends, a bedroom with a full and twin size bed and a half bath. The expansive cathedral ceilinged living room warmed by a large stone fireplace is a comfortable place for game night, reading with a glass of wine, or good laugh with friends. Continued the living room is large sun room. A perfect spot for morning coffee, breakfast or workspace for the work from home getaway . A door outside the kitchen leads to a large deck with roll out canopy, Propane Weber Grill, Propane frying burner and table and chairs for a BBQ or cool night meal. As you make your way to the third floor you will find two more bedrooms. The first is a master with queen size bed, a walk in closet, a stone candlelit fireplace, and en suite bathroom with a jet tub. The other bedroom has an adjustable bed, a closet and a bathroom with a modern Bidet toilet seat. Both Bedrooms offer a private balcony perfect for a book or private chat. Make your way to the lower, more rustic level that hosts a large, cozy TV room with 2 couches and a pull out sofa, a laundry room, a bedroom with a full size bed and bathroom. Exit the downstairs to the covered porch stacked with wood and furnished with a small table and chairs. Our home is heated by baseboard heat and stays quite cozy in the winter. We have three ductless AC units for the summer, an 80% coverage home automatic Generator to make your stay enjoyable in case of a rough storm. Our home is also equipped with 1G wireless internet and two smart TV's We offer a sleeve of Nespresso Coffee for your stay and drip coffee for heavy coffee consumption. Our kitchen is fully equipped with cook ware to handle all your cooking needs. Our home is always stocked with wood for the fire pit or fireplace. We have a laundry chute that goes from the third floor to the laundry-room. Many guests have commented that our home brings the outside in. It is the perfect country home where you don't feel lost, but you can find privacy. Enjoy a fire pit in the cool nights, a cozy fire in the fireplace, game night with family, or watching the stars from the lawn. Hiking, biking, skiing, fine dining, golfing, breweries, farm stores, Fishing, Winter Tubing, Fall Foliage and apple picking are just a handful of examples of how you can use our home to explore the Hudson Valley and the Berkshires. Whether you are looking for a carless rail trail, rolling hills, or a challenging climb, road cyclists and runners have easy access right outside the home. The Harlem Valley Rail Trail offers mostly flat paved trails great for a family ride or cyclist looking to put in some uninterrupted miles ending (or starting) at the Wassiac Train station. About 26 miles from start to finish and 52 miles round trip, many runners and cyclists use the trail to train for races. Take a run down by the lake or loop the entire lake on your bike for a challenging ride. For the ultimate challenge try and climb over Bash Bish falls Road up towards Mt Washington, MA. Kids Camps: If you want to send your children to some amazing camps, our area offers fantastic camps for children of most ages. We suggest you explore the following -Camp Hi Rock is an awesome camp with their own private lake that offers water skiing, archery, and a plethora of group activities with a rugged feel. A small step in time, they offer an awesome day camp program and will pick your children up right in the Town of Hillsdale. Campers and staff are friendly and keep coming back year after year. Memories and friends that will last a lifetime. -Camp Pontiac is an upper end camp that offers sleep-away programs. If you are looking for a camp with more amenities and facilities, Camp Pontiac is your spot. Use our home to be close to your children if you want to take them out for a night, or be close by. -Camp Eagle Hill, is a great camp that offers children as young as 5 years old to attend for Day camp. A short drive and your child will be adventuring swimming and playing on the beautiful grounds just southwest of us. -Berkshire Hills Eisenberg Camp offers a sleep away program at a very responsible rate. They have all bells and whistles a kid could enjoy with an experience that could last a lifetime. Golf: -Copake Country Club The Copake Country Club, is a beautiful public golf course in a fantastic location. A short drive past Copake Lake, and a challenging 18 holes is a perfect way to spend a day in the area. The Greens Restaurant is a superb spot to eat lunch and will not disappoint for dinner. They host many events in the summer and fall, and make a great location for events. -UnderMountain Golf Nestled at the bottom of Mt. Washing is Under Mountain Gold Course. A less challenging but beautifully maintained course, Undermountain is the perfect gold course for any golfer of any skill level.
