Cozy Cabin at the Fjord with stunning view

In beautiful northern Norway you will find our lovely cabin with stunning views on the Lavangen Fjord. The house is equipped with - 4 Bedrooms - 2 Bathrooms - big front terrace with great view over the Fjord - Sauna - cozy fireplace - fully equipped kitchen In Summer, you can go hiking in the surrounding mountains, do some fishing, watch porpoises and eagles or just enjoy the midnight sun. In Winter, you can marvel at the Northern Lights, go skiing or snowshoeing. The space The accommodation has four bedrooms which consist of the following: # Bedroom 1: - 1 extra long Double bed (180x220) - Bathroom En-Suite with shower, toilet, bidet and window - Exit to the Barrel Sauna in the back terrace # Bedroom 2: - 1 Double bed (160x200) # Bedroom 3: - 2 Single beds (90x200 each) - one big double bed can also be made of them # Bedroom 4: - 1 Queen size bed (140x200) There is also an additional bathroom with shower and toilet. Bedding and towels are available free of charge to use for all guests. In the kitchen you can find all neccessary cooking equipment. There is a stove, oven, refrigerator, freezer, separate big freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, Kenwood kitchen machine and much more. The dining table offers space for 6 persons. However the table can be extended if needed. In the cold and dark winterperiod it is always wonderful to warm up at the fireplace and lean back in one of the comfy armchairs and usw the cozy Sauna. In the living room you can spend cozy couch evenings enjoying the great view over the Fjord, play board games or in winter times with clear sky even admire the magical Northern Lights. You can also relax during a movie evening watching one (or several) of the provided DVDs. On warm days the front terrace invites you to sunbathing on the provided sunbeds. As the Fjord is rather quiet, you will probably be able to observe porpoises from time to time. When you're lucky you can even spot an eagle. When you don't want to miss out the fantastic night sky or Northern Lights at the front terrace, you can just switch on the installed heat lamp to make it even more comfortable. Surroundings: The surroundings near the cabin are just stunning. With its four mountain peaks, which extend over 1300 meters above sea level and with Norway’s quietest fjord, Lavangen is the perfect place for nature-based experiences. You have many possibilities for outdoor activities such as hiking, mountainbiking or fishing in summertime. During the winter season, you can go skiing, snowshoeing, husky-sledging or even ice-fishing below the northern lights in the surrounding areas. Close by is a campingsite located where boats can be rented. Only 25 minutes away in Bardu you will find the world's most northern animal park called "Polarpark". There you can experience typical northern animals like reindeers, moose, wolves, arctic foxes and even bears. The cabin is located at the very beginning of the famous "Lofoten Islands". They are always worth a visit to see typical stockfish, great nature or even go on a whale whatching tour. The next supermarket is located in lovely Tennevoll which is only a 10 minutes drive away by car. You can reach the accomodation very easily as the next big airport in Narvik/Evenes is just about one hour away by car. Guest access Check-In/-Out: Guests carry out their check-ins and check-outs independently with the help of a key box. Late arrivals are therefore no problem. Parking: Cars can be parked for free either in the driveway in front of the house (do not forget to put on the handbrake, it is a little steep there!) or on the green strip on the street directly opposite the house. Neighbourhood: Most of the surrounding cabins are privately-used holiday homes as well. However, there is always somewhere someone at home and everyone is very open-minded, welcoming and friendly.
