Cabin 3 is a clean, quiet cabin situated on the inside of the resort grounds next to its sister cabin 2. A group could easily push the picnic tables together and have this shady area all to themselves. Shady Shores is conveniently located along Michigan's gorgeous east shoreline along US-23, locally known as the sunrise side. The resort features stunning, unimpeded views of Lake Huron and the eastern horizon. We are located 2 miles south of downtown Oscoda and 12 miles north of downtown Tawas Each of our cabins is just under 500 sqft made of either knotty pine or modern panels, and boasts two bedrooms, each containing a queen sized bed. Cabins are professionally cleaned and disinfected between guests, and new linens and towels are placed. Water and sewer are municipal. Cups, plates, pots, flatware, and basic cooking utensils are provided. Kitchens include toaster ovens, basic ranges, and refrigerators. We have electronic locks on every cabin as well as a physical lockbox key as a backup. You will receive an email with checkin instructions and your cabin code prior to arrival. There is no need to physically check in or out with the office on arrival or departure. Everything is handled over the internet and there's no need to physically check in or out with the office. The east coast of Michigan is an incredible natural treasure.
