Description

Welcome to our cozy Buffalo Bunkhouse at Seldom Seen Ranch! our cabin is just right for two and nestled in the woods of Lost Mountain in the foothills of the Olympic Mountains. We are located 8 miles from downtown Sequim and in a great area for day hikes! Not a hiker? Well, our area offers award winning wineries and a wide variety of annual festivals. We are off the grid! Get away from it all when you stay under the stars while waking to snorts and grunts from our American Buffalo! The space 398 sqft. rustic cabin. Open studio with a bathroom and user-friendly kitchen... everything you need except a full-sized oven (toaster/convection oven and two-burner portable cook top). Perfect for a couple days of stay. Large windows create an atmosphere of sleeping in the woods. We do not have blinds... as of yet, we'd like to see how are guests like the privacy of the outdoors with no neighbors to peeking in! I have a few games for two people... tv has DVDs and VHS movies... no cable or wifi... Cabin is off the grid, baby! Guest access Parking is not a problem... reminder gravel driveway 10-15 mph... it can be a little bumpy! Other things to note Burn ban for Clallam County is usually July 1 to Oct 1. Sometimes June is dry. Depends. Check county notice if a question. There is a firewood place on Gilbert (behind Ohana Coffee Stand) just across from Taylor Cutoff Rd as well as on Taylor cutoff. You are more than welcome to use the firepit... we ask that you have experience with wood stoves before you try and use the fireplace in the cabin. We do have a propane fire pit on the porch.
