Enjoy a modern retreat a 5-min stroll from peaceful Lake Kokanee (HOA pass included). The space Welcome to our bright and spacious home, where modern and vintage elements blend to create a stylish, comfortable retreat. We’ve designed the main living area to foster connection—there’s no TV downstairs, so you can gather around the fire, play board games, or unwind with music on our high-quality sound system. Choose from over 200 vinyl records or stream your favorite tunes for a cozy night with family and friends. Our well-equipped kitchen features multiple coffee options, including drip, and pour-over, as well as a burr coffee grinder- just BYO beans. You'll also find a microwave, toaster, waffle maker, and a full set of Cuisinart cookware, so you can prepare delicious meals for your group. As parents, we understand the importance of family-friendly amenities, which is why we offer 2 high-chairs, 2 pack-and-plays, built-in retractable baby gates, baby bath, toys, and books for young children, kid-friendly utensils, blackout curtains, noise machine, an old-school Nintendo, and game tables in the garage. We also provide high-speed internet and WiFi to keep you connected during your stay. The primary bedroom, located on the main floor, features a king-sized memory foam bed and an en-suite bathroom with a jacuzzi tub, double vanity, and stand-up shower. We also provide high-quality toiletries from Public Goods for your convenience. If you're in the mood for a movie night, turn on the overhead projector and kick back. Upstairs, you'll find a guest bedroom with another comfortable king-sized bed, stunning views of the trees, and a dedicated workspace. The third bedroom is designed for kids of all ages and comes with two twin beds, books, toys, and blackout curtains. The second-floor guest bathroom features a tub and shower, and we provide essential toiletries from Public Goods. Our recently renovated loft space on the second floor offers a TV, vintage game console, cards, puzzles, and board games, as well as a queen-sized pull-out couch with a memory foam mattress. Our garage, which we affectionately call the "Game Room," is the perfect spot for both indoor and outdoor fun. The Game Room offers a variety of activities for all ages. Challenge your friends and family to a game of shuffleboard, foosball, air hockey, pop-a-shot, or darts. You can also enjoy the music system and fairy lights, which create a fun and festive atmosphere for any occasion. You'll also find a mix of life preservers and outdoor games you're welcome to take down to the lake, along with a wagon for hauling. We look forward to hosting you and ensuring your stay is comfortable and enjoyable! Guest access Lake Access: Lake Kokanee is just a 5-minute walk from the house. This calm, scenic lake is perfect for swimming, fishing, and non-gas-powered boating. Kids will love jumping off the dock and playing in the water. The adjacent park features a playground, a small basketball court, and horseshoe pits—great for a relaxed family day outdoors. EV Charger: Use of the EV charger is available for an additional fee ($10/night). Please let us know if you'd like to use it. Parking: There’s ample driveway parking at the house. Please do not park on the street. A guest vehicle pass is required to access Lake Cushman and Lake Kokanee private parks by car. We provide one parking pass for use during your stay. Please ensure it is returned before checkout. Firewood for the Firepit We stock firewood at the start of the season for guest use. Feel free to use some during your stay—if you go through a lot, we’d appreciate it if you could help replenish the supply for future guests. Additional firewood is available at the nearby Lake Store. Please remember to check for local burn bans before starting any fire. Other things to note Cell Service & WiFi: Cell coverage is limited—Verizon works best but can be spotty. WiFi calling works well inside the home. Watercraft Note: We no longer provide kayaks or paddleboards, as mentioned in some older reviews. We’re happy to recommend local rental options. Quiet Neighborhood: The home is in a peaceful residential area. Please respect our neighbors. Lake Access: Guests can access Lake Cushman parks, beaches, and boat launches with the included vehicle pass. No pass is needed if walking. Additional passes are needed to launch your own (motorized) boats. Please inquire for details Booking Requirements: Guests must be 25+ with a strong positive Airbnb rental history.
