Our well-equipped kitchen features multiple coffee options, including drip, pour-over, and Chemex, as well as a burr coffee grinder. You'll also find a microwave, toaster, waffle maker, and a full set of Cuisinart cookware, so you can prepare delicious meals for your group. We understand the importance of family-friendly amenities, which is why we offer 2 high-chairs, 2 pack-and-plays, built-in retractable baby gates, baby bath, toys, and books for young children, kid-friendly utensils, blackout curtains, noise machine, an old-school Nintendo, and game tables in the garage. We also provide high-speed internet and WiFi to keep you connected during your stay. The primary bedroom, located on the main floor, features a king-sized memory foam bed and en-suite bathroom with a jacuzzi tub, double vanity, and stand-up shower. If you're in the mood for a movie night, turn on the overhead projector and kick back. Upstairs, you'll find a guest bedroom with another comfortable king-sized bed and stunning views of the trees. The third bedroom is designed for kids of all ages and comes with two twin beds, books, toys, and blackout curtains. The second-floor guest bathroom features a tub and shower. Our recently renovated loft space on the second floor offers a TV, game console, cards, puzzles, and board games, as well as a queen-sized pull-out couch with a new memory foam mattress. Our garage, which we affectionately call the "Game Annex," is the perfect spot for both indoor and outdoor fun. You'll find all the toys you need for a day at the nearby lake. Plus, we provide a wagon that you can use to carry any other essentials you need. For those rainy days or indoor entertainment, The Game Annex also offers a variety of activities for all ages. Challenge your friends and family to a game of shuffleboard, foosball, air hockey, or darts. Lake Kokanee is an easy 5-minute walk from the house. Lake Kokanee is a calm and serene lake, designed for non-gas powered boating, fishing, and swimming. Kids can splash the day away and jump off the dock till their heart’s content. The park at the lake includes a playground, small basketball court, and horseshoe rings. The Lake Kokanee area is surrounded by gorgeous, drivable options as well: • 5-minute drive to the private Lake Cushman golf course (available to guests) • 8-minute drive to the closest, well-stocked grocery store, gas station, ice cream shop, wine tasting, etc. • 10-minute drive to Lake Cushman Private Park (boat launch and beach; available to guests) • 15-minute drive to Potlatch State Park • 25-minute drive to the famous Hamma Hamma Oyster Saloon • 30-minute drive to the Staircase entrance of Olympic National Park • Countless trails and viewpoints- check in at the Hoodsport Visitor Information Center (8-minute drive) for an adventure that suits you! There is ample driveway parking at the house, guests should not park on the street. A parking pass is required to park at any Lake Cushman/Lake Kokanee private park. A single parking pass is provided to guests for the duration of their stay. The parking pass must be returned. Please use the AirBnb messaging system to contact us for non-urgent issues. If something more pressing comes up, please call or text. We will do everything we can to make your stay as enjoyable as possible! The house is located within Division 9 of the Lake Cushman HOA. Division 9 lakeside amenities include a covered gazebo with BBQs, fishing dock, children's swimming area, picnic tables, swings, slide, basketball court, horseshoe court, restrooms, and a public boat launch. The neighborhood is a mix of cabins, homes, and privately-owned RV campsites. While you will hear and see neighbors during the day, the HOA is bound by strictly enforced quiet hours at night. You may see HOA security drive by from time to time. Cell service in the Lake Cushman/Lake Kokanee area is limited to Verizon and is spotty. This may impact one's ability to call for medical help, if needed. Lake Kokanee is within a 5-minute walk from the house. Lake Cushman is a 10-minute drive to the nearest boat launch, beach and park. Nearby recreation opportunities include: • 5-minute drive to the Lake Cushman golf course • 5-minute drive to the Hoodsport disk golf course • 10-minute drive to Lake Cushman Private Park (boat launch and beach) • 15-minute drive to Potlatch State Park • 30-minute drive to the Staircase entrance of Olympic National Park • 30-minute drive to Triton Cove State Park • 40-minute drive to Dosewallips State Park • 40-minute drive to Hood Canal Adventures (kayak rental, tours, and more) • Cell service is spotty but WiFi calling solves that problem when you are inside the house. Cell service in the surrounding area is limited to Verizon and is spotty at best. Please note this may impact one's ability to call for medical help, if needed. • The house is in a neighborhood setting. Please be mindful of our neighbors. • Use of Lake Cushman Community Parks, Swimming Beaches and Boat Launches is limited to homeowners & guests and requires a parking pass for entry (if a car is used to access the park). We provide 1 Vehicle Guest Pass to access these areas. If you walk to a Lake Cushman/Lake Kokanee park or beach, a pass is not required. - Renters must have a strong positive Airbnb rental history and be 25 years of age or older to book this property. - Summer months only (May- mid-Sept): Renters are required to sign a liability waiver for use of water equipment and access to the garage. We will send a message asking for a personal email for this exchange. Failure to return the signed waiver will result in access to equipment and game room in the garage being withheld. - Water equipment is not available for Fall, Winter, or early Spring (Sept.- April) rentals but guests will still have access to the garage and garage games (no waiver required).
